For the first time in a while, I don’t want to watch this episode again because I definitely cried buckets. Infertility is a very sensitive topic in my family and hearing ASR reassure Imlie that they would be parents in all ways, regardless of the journey, made me feel slightly better.
Seeing him breakdown after only seeing these dreams for a day reminds you that yes, mothers feel the pain, but fathers lose something as well. I don’t understand why people keep bringing up the promo and saying it doesn’t make sense. His wife not being able to have a kid also means he can’t be a father, not just his impotency. It was never to target him and his trust in her, it’s to show her that he understands her value and loves her for it and she needs to finally understand it herself.
The scene where he comes home and is enthusiastic reminded me of the scene after Adini marriage where she wanted to cook because she was done being sad. He’s going to keep reminding her of the end goal, which is them, Chiku and her being a kickass reporter.
Side note: who else was excited to hear Madhav’s name?! I hope they bring him back to help her, the actor is absolutely adorable
