Well I am only here because of Aryan. And I have developed a sort of attachment with his character. It's once in a decade on ITV sort of a character if not lifetime. I haven't seen a ML like this before.
With that being said, I don't have really high hopes with the makers. This track has a lot of potential. So did some of the previous tracks that were messed up big time. So I switch on my tv bracing myself each time that this track can lead anywhere.
But my grudge is where this seems to go right now. Akt giving those pictures is clear sign that his character is going to bail out and whitewashed. Which I don't really mind since I don't really care about his character. My concern is that if they're going to nullify Aryan's whole trauma and belief system just to bring in a new villain.
We do need a strong villain. But it shouldn't be Arvind, as many friends are predicting. That would be an insult to Aryan's character. His whole existence would be jeopardized. It's such a common trope on ITV. The good relative/mother turning out a villain. Yet I've always found this twist horrible. What about actually goodness and trust in relations. Should one never trust a relation whatsoever because you never know when they will betray you?
