How to be a good employer aka not do workplace harassment

1. Pay your employees
2. Provide them with proper accomodation. A shanty corner of the house is not an accomodation
3. Do not throw water on them while they sleep
4. Do not raise your hands to strike them.
5. Do not unleash your misplaced anger on them.
6. Do not call them family just so that you can avoid giving them a raise.
   
7. Provide them with medical cover.
   

Alsooooo, If you do end up considering them family- because relationships can change: Treat them like family. Stand up for them. Defend them. Don't call them your "bhai" and then ignore them when your actual "bhai" threatens them with physical violence.
