Exactly.. thats the whole point , he wants her to trust herself , her own instincts, rather then let anyone influence her , be it him or AKT .. I understand Aryanâs stand on not having to justify himself, I dont think he is wrong..Thatâs exactly what he is trying to bring out in her / develop , to trust herself / her instincts and capabilities. Donât doubt yourself. So she keeps telling him I donât wanna believe you will use me on purpose but has nagging doubt ( because of AKT here & the file he showed , Aryansâs revelations about the revenge)
For someone who claims to know her so well ,she is asking for reassurance in words and he is not saying what she wants to hear but beating around the bush. Especially in yesterdayâs episode he pretty much says it . But this is his Ghadi, she needs it spelled out at the moment, he past experience and the person she was with is clouding her judgment.
His motto is - Action speaks louder than words , so she should figure it out and support him.
Somewhere itâs his insecurities playing too . He does ask her if she is still in love with her Babusaheb, we know she isnât , but he has not heard that yet. He is anticipating heartbreak if she gets to know his innermost feelings towards her.
The âMain yahi rooka hoon Imli , Tum jaana chahathi ho & Tum vaapas aavogina naâ screams what he is thinking about her / their relationship (felt so sad to hear this though ..) while she is clueless, is thinking about the current moment and says why wonât I come back ?
Both are insecure in their own ways at the end of the day. Someone has to break through this . IMO Imli needs to be the one since she the one all about âFeelings & emotionsâ .
Kyuki remember she tells him in hospital âthumse ithni bi emotions nahi handle hoopathi â. So all these great Indian wedding and ceremonies should end up in some form of Aha moment for her , hopefully . It need not be love , but this all began with I will get married for Tâs / AKT that needs to change to any other reason than that . Whatâs the point in the whole wedding arc otherwise? đ¤¨
Also its interesting to see how these two are at the different ends of the spectrum .. Aryan shows what he believes in via his actions, doesnât feel the need to vocalize the same .. e.g has been standing by her, elevating her constantly, but wonât say I am doing this for you n you only..
Imlie on the other hand , eloquently claims things, but she never supports them via her actions.. e.g made tall claims that nothing can break her trust in Aryan, went ahead and did the exact opposite in a heartbeat..
And to be honest I find it hypocritical of Imlie to ask Aryan to show her that she can trust him ,inspite of all heâs done for her, when she herself was in the same position with AKT, and she left him bcz he wouldnât trust her inspite of her efforts , she didnât want to explain herself further ..isnât she doing to Aryan what AKt did to her .. its another parallel they might be trying to show here ..
