Adi is right in his anger about this condition but he is wrong in blaming her for his lost years and leaving her now. He could've easily let go of her condition/kasam after his divorce or after her studies. It's not like she'll kill herself or something if he breaks it. But I guess he was not able to dare after all that he put her through.

He has to return, talk to her about what he wants and ask her about what she wants and also teach her a thing or two about not taking decisions for everyone else 😂

But I don't know if the reunion can happen instantly. There is still a lot of tension b/w them that I can feel. Great writing! Will wait to read how you'll bring about the old magic of Adilie❤️

They definitely have a lot to work through. The way she left, she made him swear on her that he wouldn't try to contact her. He over time has become more of a beliefs based person and when it came to Imlie, he didn't want to take any chances. So he hoped to meet her accidentally. He got his wish when his life was in danger again. She came to save him, like always.

He had told Imlie that her decision about the baby will be all their decision because he was imposed so many of his decisions on her early on. She decided Malini and the baby can stay - which meant she had to leave. In my story he doesn't get to have the best of both worlds. My Imlie has more self-worth than to stay like a doormat serving a family of hypocrites.

this is the Imlie everyone wants. I'm so thankful that you removed the unbelievably opportunistic family from the story. I hope they never come back and even if they did, it should only be for them to see what was always meant to be - Adilie. And also to realise how much higher Imlie's "status" is than the Ts now, that they can't even dream of asking her hand for their son.

Love loved it - she gave him her perspective without asking anything of him. I like this Imlie so much better than the one in the show now 🤢.

There are viewers who think she should stay with Adi even when he is having a baby with her half sister and still legally bound wife (cringe situation), because their love and feelings for each other is extremely strong 🤔 yes - so strong that he deleted the proof without so much a fyi to the love of his life and also told her for him baby with rapist came first and gave her free rein to do as she wanted as a favor. And Adi nor T family - will never defend Imlie or ever openly challenge didi for her treatment of Imli - (so many insults in public didi has given I - ordered Imlie to open the door, suggested to Adi that they could have sent Imlie and Sundar to pick up docs, chai nashta comment, said Imlie kuch be bakhthi hai because she was disappointed about her internship) They will not trust Imlie's assessment of didi - in fact say that Imli was mistaken since no mother can be bad like Imlie was suggesting Malini was, question Imlie when Malini does her take her damn medicine (even Sundar was disgusted with Adi's question)...and just give puzzling misleading looks of dawning comprehension and discomfort in front of her. Maybe since I have been out of India for a long while - I cannot relate to this deep devotion Imlie has for Adi that she can tolerate every selfish expectation that he has of her love while he (who apparently loves Imlie with such intensity - that together they will last every challenge posed by society to stay together) self admittedly ... multiple times ...trusts her half sister MAlini more than Imlie. He even disregards Imlie's words that MAlini has many times admitted openly and vocally to her wrongdoings and he still does not trust the love of his life - and this is the amazing love that causes them to stay together amidst all odds. A love that is so powerful in words 'meri pathni hai' and needs no follow up actions when it really counts. Adi was a victim only till he deleted the proof without discussing with Imlie - at that point he made his choice and his bed. And excuse for Adi - is trauma? Pls the man is functioning normally - going for long drives, sitting in long pooja's, participating in hand tying rituals, getting water for M when needed, monitoring M's medicines, getting her chair when needed, everything but see the truth staring his love has been telling him and also proving with video - kya trauma??? waa. What he feels for Imlie is not love - love wants the other to fly and live their lives - not hold them down to the mistakes they made with their lives. I like the Adi who during the mud spa lied to Imlie so she could move on with her life. This one says after deleting video - what to do - you have a man like me for your husband smiley5

So so glad that you have showcased an Imlie who still maintains the same love she always professed for BBSB even 10 years away with single mindedness - but refused to be part of the cringe that Adi allowed into their lives by virtue of his poor choices and mistake of distrusting the one he claimed to love. I feel sad for his distress at losing 10 years - but who is to blame for that? Not Imlie!

Alex, the voice of reason.

Adi, the man whose life took turns due to circumstances, some forced and some he didn’t have the guts to confront. Yes, he is wrong but he is human.

Imlie, the selfless person and the girl who has maturity beyond her years. Yes, she made some mistakes too but what would you expect an 18 yo put in those precarious situations? Life has given her nothing but hardships and she fought them like the fighter she is. She stands by her beliefs, by her God and by the teachings of way of life that was taught to her since she was a child. No matter how far she moves away from that village, those sentiments, archaic or not, follow her. Her commitment towards Adi is truly only ever read about in books and fictional stories.

It is a story based on human emotions and situations. Oh the turns it takes, for some a straight path and for some it’s quite zig-zag, but the end is partly what are you are destined to be and part how you attempt to change that destiny.

Adi and Imlie now stand a chance to rewrite that destiny that always eluded them. Their pull, however, will always be a constant even if there is distance. That pull, is what I’d love to see more. That emotional connection, angst and attraction (much more than physical connections can provide, it’s beyond that).

Once again, love that we have this medium to read a fan fiction that is quite a relief given the current frustrated FD sentiments.

The show Imlie needs to leave too. I can't believe that they are showing her caring for Malini who processes that Aditya is her husband. Hello, how is Aditya her husband when he said that he was already married and willingly? Legal marriage means nothing when the guy doesn't want you. And you only got him through rape. This is sickening what they are showing now. Malini needs to be shown getting her due from Aditya. Somehow his whole family has no problem with Malini's character because she's rich and no problem with Aditya because he's male, but they can't forgive Imlie. What?

Imlie said it in Pakdandiya that she will remain committed to him and he knew that she would, so he's only just coming face to face with that. In my story he ended up wasting time as he didn't want to when he saw Dev and Mithi, that's why he's so cut up. He doesn't know how to express that.

Really appreciate your take.

From your story, when Adi knows and believes that what he saw and felt was Imlie.

The scene where they are under one roof, each under their own made up assumptions but still wishing it was different and regretting that separation they brought on themselves and settling for this is what life has come to. I see pull there too.

In conversation with Alex, when Adi thinks Alec can easily fill his void, knowing full well at the same time that Imlie will never let it happen, not now not ever. It’s not anger I see, it’s the regret that is eating him away. Running away from problems always seems like the right solution when you fear how to handle it. Once you overcome that fear, you get that strength. The strength with which Adi is walking back into the house again, is the pull towards Imlie.

As the lines in the show, Love gives us the strength to fight, that fight which will also give you belief in yourself that you will win the fight. It’s the love that is shown in those raw emotions that is just wonderful.

And we love this Imlie and would love selfish Adi now … not sacrificing one now 🤗

Can I tell you what I would like to see - Adi sharing with Imlie - where he went wrong with Malini - during those 7 years, why he married her, why he felt he had to keep telling her - he only loved her.

It has always seemed weird to me that Adi suppressed all his feelings for Imlie till PD3 when he had the encounter with his inner self. I know the makers probably did not want him to appear like he was cheating Malini at the time...but is it really possible for a man who did enough to hide marriage to Imlie from the rest of his family for quite a while - failed to realize the extent of his feelings for her until she walked away... he must have had some niggling of awareness before - yes we saw that registered all the Imlie significance in his pre wedding rituals and ignored them by citing his choice...but was he really that unaware...even when he saved Imlie from the bridge collapse and ignored Malini - he did not question himself? The fact that he set up a show for her in their bedroom shows awareness of his need to make up to MAlini - did that not trigger any introspection?

Adi 's acknowldgement of love for Imlie was too sudden and without much justification other than the 5 lines in the woods...it will be nice to get more of that as well. :)
