Aaj ke episode main finally we get to see aakhir how the entire ring chori plan plays out and it is safe to say that actual chor ne muh ki hi khaayi. The entire setup was such that everyone jo abhi tak kisi pe aankh bandh karke bharosa karte the, usika asli roop came out in front of those same people and man was that satisfying to watch. Uske baad kuch hua nahi, woh alag baat hai, but we are used to that now
Today Imlie was on fire - we finally got a glimpse of the girl we always rooted for and who continues to keep us invested in the show. While there were still a lot of loopholes, honestly today was still a much better episode than I expected.
The episode begins with Imlie sajaoing her Nani in flower jewels and telling her that this is all she can give her as she has nothing else. She explains how even though both could never stand each other all their life, when she saw NN at the bus stop, for her it was like a divine intervention, for she had at that point even given up her vishwas on Sita Maiyya. She gives Nani a choice - take the ring and let Malini win, which means Imlie will leave everything and go back to PD, or else support her to get the respect she deserves from her sasural. Nani is left in 2 minds, but with us knowing exactly what she do nextš.
We then get another beautiful scene with Adi & Imlie - 2 days in a row, I am shocked. Mujhe toh laga PH ne ban kar diya hoga unke scenes dikhane seš. Anyway, Adi is fully ready to win the competition and Imlie keeps berating him that this is no competition, it is a rasam. This statement gets a wonderful throwback later in the episode, where Adi mouths the exact same statement to Malini, effectively showing that all mazak aside, the couple are genuinely using every opportunity to show the world that their relationship is not just valid, but something that is pure and beautiful. Their banter was so sweet, more so with our favorite peppy Sajna ho instrumental as the BG - haye aisa lagta hai saalon ho gaye usse sunkar - so beautiful to the ears. Adi and Imlie argue over who loves the other more, Imlie calls him Shehri Langoor and also compliments him, which he takes very confidently and Imlie makes a cute face at his narcissism. But more than everything both are happy to finally do something as husband and wife in front of the world, that means they have already won.
AC comes to the function taunting Aparna the entire time and Malini says her token "Stop it Mom" as well - basically ensuring that abhi T house main function theek hogaš. Mitthi enters, but Aparna promptly ignores her. Imlie comes there and reminds her ma that her samdhan has come and to welcome her as well. Aparna gets wild at Imlie calling her 'ma' and asks to be called CKaki only. Imlie decides to give her utla jawab like a good bahu by asking Aparna to choose from multiple options on what to call her, except Mataji, which apparently sounds like Bharat Mataš. Mitthi tries to explain to Imlie ki aise baat nahi karte to her sasuma. Imlie explains that she spoke the same way with Aparna as she does with Mitthi, as she loves the both of them the same amount - which shifts something in Aparna as well. Imlie takes them both in together - which prompts another vampy monologue from Malini who is still under the assumption that Nani is in her team.
Then we get some fluffy family scenes about the 2 teams and the stage is set for the rasam. AC taunts Adi that he must have already had practice for this rasam, but gets back from both Adi & Imlie, who basically give her back for coming there uninvited for doing tamasha in their functions - right in front of her daughter, who as usual says nothing. Then we get the search for the ring by everyone, which leads to NN being accused of stealing it.
Bechari Imlie gets prepared to be humiliated and goes to check Nani, who makes the entire process a joke. She confidently says that I don't have it as I know that Kalini (Kalpana + Malini - me like this new name) only decided to hide it. Malini is confused, but does not have a choice when Rupi di decides to check her for the ring. As usual, Nani played her daav very well, and the ring is tied to Malini's pallu only, thus proving she had it all along. Malini tries to cover the situation saying that Nani and her were playing a game, to which Adi gets mad at Malini, reminding her that these are pavitra rasms and no games and how could she allow Imlie's family to be insulted like this. Malini feels bad and apologizes, while Imlie pushes the knife even further by asking Malini to drop the ring for the rasam. Malini gets an FB of her own time while giving a bechari face about being asked to do the ring drop.š. But the best was Adi & Imlie were the least bothered, as they apne mast main went at the rasam like kids trying to find the ring and winš
The precap confirms that the BTS was for Adi & Imlie's muh dikhayi only, which means most of our predictions seem to be on point about the rasams being the reason to push Malini to the brink and do something big. Hopefully we get whatever that is and finish this track as soon as possible, coz this is getting stretched too far.
