I liked the episode today.....to be specific I liked Aditya, Imlie, Sk and Meethi part of episode today.

Aditya and his brutal honesty.....kudos to Meeti and Sk for listening to the first half but very heartbreaking side of the story patiently. How hurtful it must have been for them to hear Imlie living like a servant in her own sasuraal. Now tomorrow, hopefully Aditya will explain his perspective why he fell in love with Imlie even after 7 years of his very happy (as he said that today) relationship with Malini. And after not accepting his marriage with Imlie, why is he hell bent on giving Imlie wife wale Haq. We the audience have seen the whole journey, but I am enjoying hearing detailed explanation for the first time from Aditya himself. I loved it when he said his blood boils thinking of Imlie with another man and yet she saw him becoming someone else’s.

Aparna continues to disappoint me. Is it any surprise why Aditya has so much respect for Meethi. Here he is saying stuff about his harsh behavior with her daughter and she patiently listens to him, giving him the benefit of the doubt, like she innately trust the goodness in Aditya. And on the other end, Aparna showed token 2 seconds worry for him and started taunting him and making him feel guilty without asking him any question or showing any understanding.

On one hand Aditya is giving brutal honesty to Merthi, wanting her to know the whole truth without justifying himself, to understand who he really is as he plans to stay with Imlie his whole life. On the other hand, he is lying to his own mother about his location because Aparna has never given him the benefit of doubt before starting blame game and guilt tripping him. Here meethi shows understanding without knowing the whole truth and it is her own daughter who has suffered and there Aparna shows zero understanding, knows nothing and has no faith in her own son.

I am going to enjoy seeing Aditya Meethi bond. And hopefully SK and Meethi will help Imlie understand that even if it hurts T family, Malini didi, still the truth needs to be out and she needs to support her husband while he proclaims the truth. She cannot shy away from truth, take the world’s burden on her shoulder just to protect others from pain. She needs to learn to prioritize her marital relationship.

Looking forward to the rest of the Adi-meethi-Sk scene tomorrow.

All good points!

@bold 1- Yes- I too would love to hear his detailed explanation of his thought process and how his feelings gradually changed. It is pretty obvious to so many of us who take the trouble to follow it in detail and understand the characters. But so often I come across other bailbuddhi comments on social media- something needs to be explained in OBVIOUS words for some to understand.

@bold 2- Meethi was always a wise old soul. But one reason she would be so patient is his open admission of how much he loves Imlie. But yeah- she must be able to read his love in his actions as well- how can she not compare her own experience with what she has seen in the Adi-Lie relationship.

@bold 3- True- yes- it is amazing how readily she is able to overlook everything good in him and believe he is capable of being such a low character. I mean -all the Ts cn se ehow much he stands for honesty and justice etc. Not even once has she pulled him aside- away from the panchayat and sat down with him- without accusations and asked -why are you behaving this way? I want to hear your side.

that is given.. they need some drama.. but if u see it from her perspective.. Aparna’s perspective..

Malini has always washed her dirty laundry in front of everyone and every time she has made sure that Aditya is blamed.. while Imlie had always put parda on their problems.. to top it she is unaware about the truth.. also they looking at Rupi who has suffered because some other woman.. they r just drawing parallel between Malini n Rupi.. where as there is no similarity between the two situations..

So even if I don’t agree with Aparna n her nahi Bhakti.. I can still see where she is coming from.. she just needs ito be little less biased towards her own son.. and trust his judgment

I want to see Aditya’s perspective on his whole journey so far from his character’s POV. Today when he told the first half, he said it with total honesty. He did not shy away from saying the most hurtful truth. He also showed that he is aware of the pain Imlie went through, that he has put himself in her shoes and can imagine how hard it must have been for her. I personally don’t care what other belbuddhi commentors have to say. Most of them have their own preconceived notion about the characters and stick to it instead of seeing the story as is. It is the writers story, not our story. I am just so impressed with Aditya today. As much as he delayed telling Malini the truth, he did not delay one bit in telling Meethi and sK the truth. May the writers never ever mess with this character trait of Aditya. His principles, his honesty, his ghootan in living a lie is what I admire the most about him. Ofcourse along with his firmness and decisiveness about his feelings for Imlie and detachment from Malini.

The writers have done a very good job in showing us aditya imlie journey but the characters are never shown conversing or contemplating their own journey. That is why it is giving me immense pleasure in seeing Aditya recount the truth in his own words. This way I am getting to know more about his character, his thoughts, his feelings.

With Malini he said the truth that relates only to her. He did not go in deep in explaining his feelings for Imlie. With amma and SK he is digging deeper, giving them more details about his past with Malini, his past behavior with Imlie, and true feelings for Imlie, his understanding of Imlie’s pain. I look forward to seeing how he says the truth to T family also. Again there he will not say much about his past with Malini but he might dig deeper about his relationship with Imlie.

More than NDE scenes, extra drama baazi, I just absolutely love seeing these detailed monologues, conversations that are spoken with total honesty. The beauty of this show lies in the conversations between Aditya-Imlie and their conversations with other characters.

I understand Aparna’s frustration. But I don’t understand her lack of need to converse with Aditya, to understand him. Why can’t she have one-on-one conversation with him? She convicts Aditya without ever listening to him. She only hears things from Malini’s side and automatically assumes Aditya is at fault. As if she is not the one who brought up Aditya. As if he is not her own son. Even when he came back from last PD trip, right away she guilt tripped him by telling him that she did not expect him to disrespect a woman....or something along those lines. Did she ask him where he went and why? Even now she accuses him of giving Imlie more importance than Malini rather than asking him why is he doing this. Instead of creating an atmosphere between them where Aditya can speak what is in his heart, she does just the opposite. Does she think her son, the very son who fights for truth and justice everyday, is having EMA with Imlie? To me Aparna is extremely biased toward Malini without making an iota of an effort to understand or talk to her own son.

yes! I agree.. she needs to have some faith and need to have conversation with Aditya..

The current situation is making her think Aditya is having affair with Imlie. She doesn’t know they r married... and her son is trying to do make amends.. I am sure once things are put forward to Ts they will understand.. they will resists for sure but they will u definitely understand..

Lack of communication is mainly because of Malini.. once that road block is removed things will be better again..

The basic assumption that Aparna is making is that when a relationship sours it’s always because of a Man and currently that man is also showing over protective nature for another girl that’s why this MU. Hope things get better on that front soon..

Yes- I missed that so much with the recent episodes. I even tried to research and see who the dialogue writers/scene/screen writers were to see if they were off sick or something. I feel each of the dragging or even filler episodes or even that sindoor drag drama, we had recently could have been made so much better if we had those dialogues or monologues- to get a glimpse as to what they were thinking at the time. It still puzzles me why they didnt do that even occasionally- to me it would have been the easiest thing to do shooting wise- dedicate an entire half minute -minute to a single person Adi or Imlie doing some soul searching.

Or how lovely would it have been if Imlie sought to soothe her pain in poetry. I hope she discovers that side to her. Seeing her love for studies and knowledge- I do wish the writers had added that aspect to her character too-that she spends sometime writing down her thoughts occasionally. I did so badly want BS to find out that it was Imlie who wrote that lovely poem : "yeh itna gussa karte hain"

And yes- GM has brought to life so well Adi's suffocation and the burden of an honest man having to live a lie. Also yes- that it would help if their conversations ran into explaining how they felt and why rather than going around in circles about when to reveal the 'SACH' . And all this pain of having to see Imlie call foul on his love and say dhoka etc would be well worth it- if we could hear him recount to her how and when he changed and why. It is difficult to write such a scene without it being cheesy- but the writers have done a remarkable job so far. Finger crossed that we will get all these good dialogues soon.

I am wondering if Imlie is meeting Prakash off the bus. If he arrived and apologised to Imlie for exposing her truth to SK and she told him about Adi's burial, maybe Malini would overhear it and feel more guilty about keeping them apart, when they have obviously been through so much together. That way when she finds out they are half-sisters she might be more inclined to push Imlie to claiming her rights on Adi, and might stick up for them when they face Aparna.

Completely agree! Malini was never ready for a serious conversation with Aditya—-she never sat down calmly and had a open talk with him. Rather her OTT reactions pushed Aditya to fear her behaviour. All their clashes were about her hurt and how betrayed she felt, never a sane conversation between the couple.

Moreover, she has zero sense of privacy—-her personal life was on display for both the families. Aditya on the other hand wanted to speak to Malini first before his private matters were out in the open for conference discussion. This is a major issue in many real-life marriages—- one is not supposed to share EVERYTHING with one’s larger family about one’s marriage. There should be a space for one-to-one conversation with the spouse and the spouse ONLY. While Aditya maintains that with Aparna and doesn’t want her to interfere, Malini on the other hand has got everyone possible involved. Of course people are going to side with the one who has shared and misunderstand the one who has not.

Meethi is fundamentally different in that manner. She is very very non-intrusive. Imlie of course is also a very private person when it came to her spousal matters. Hence, it is easy to speak to Meethi because she is not carrying any baggage of judging things based on a one-sided story. It’s like when our friends have a breakup, we are more likely to believe the one who comes and cries to us and tells his/her side of the story than the partner who doesn’t explain.
