After watching Adilie scene, Malini and co scene felt so comic, I didn’t feel any emotion in that scene and I put mute on that scene, Mayuri didn’t show any emotion in that scene , it really felt she is crying to Jilebi more than Adi.

Same.....matlab it wasn't just pain/weakness in his eyes from his physical injuries....you could see palpable emotion in his eyes and we all know how rarely he expresses this for Imlie😆.....it all came out in that moment and that is why it made the moment so powerful too....as you said, the sense of loss in his eyes while watching her walk away was very palpable....like ek tadap and helplessness was both there in his eyes.

Yes, it was like how can you walk away leaving me in a state like this? There were both hurt and abhiman in his eyes...

This turned out to be almost a decision point for Adi- want Imlie with you - accept that she believes the relationship to be valid and true....else let her go. By going to her - he is taking the first step to that acknowledgement that makes him more complicit when the matter finally surfaces.

In many ways - even if he does not love her - it becomes almost humanitarian to bring her back on account of the many things she has done for him. So it almost leaves him with no choice. If he is a decent man - she has forced his hand - even though she does not mean to.

So what I'm trying to say - is even if he goes and is apologetic - until he realizes he misses her and needs her - it does not mean much.

I guess we have to wait to see what the apology is like and what reason he gives to bring her back before we deem it meaningless.

I don’t think he can bring her back on humanitarian grounds this time. That already got done with the gunshot track. The very basis of the convo that hurt her was him making it sound like she’s a pity project that he will support in getting her education etc. So it would likely take something bigger than a general apology for him to convince her to come back with him.

Whatever he will say to her is one thing....what will go on in his heart and mind in this time away from her will probably give a better window into the status of his feelings for her.

He won’t say he misses or needs her. lol that would be too much for Adi to realize or admit right now....but he will have to find a way to sincerely let her know he wasn’t treating her like a pity project or obligation. That is what I think will lift the weight from her heart for now.

The other thing I love about that potli is that it’s barely the size of a small shoulder bag and Imlie seems to have like 10-15 different suits that she wears on a rotation but they all seem to magically fit inside that potli whenever she has to leave 😆.....so many clothes can fit inside such a small potli? Lol

Lol bag chhodo, ek phone tak nahin liya Imlie ne. Aajkal everyone has a phone, including house help but Imlie ko utna bhi nahin dilvaya in all these months of living in Delhi 😆. Bas random kapde gift karte reh gaye and ek basic phone na dilva paaye mahaan Tripathis as if it would be too expensive 🙄😂.

Ankhon mein thandak adi in guilt mode paar phir soch raha hai ghar mein kya bolu kabhi toh khud ka kya response hai woh socho ...

I do want it to be that Imlie doesn't come back on her own....it would dilute the impact of her whole resolve to leave. If she comes back, it has to be Adi bringing her back again. Just as he did with the gunshot incident.

If she gets another heartfelt apology, that would be the cherry on the icing but I will keep my expectations low as always😆

Me too.... Sorry and Thank you for Imlie is not in his dictionary.... He will be apologetic but it might be more in the rant forma and may be a promise that he will never question her belief again.

The other day on the bike, sorry and thank you was though far away atleast a small compliment ki she did good but BS was in his own world. Imlie was doing her own tarif 😆 and Tarif do door ki baat, he gave her a big zhatka 🤣
