@bold: Yes, he has lifted the barrier and he is gone for a toss now. 😆With Malini’s insecurity on the rise, his omnipresent guilt and his ever- increasing feelings, Aditya’s delusional world is going to crack piece by piece. I wonder how he would react though to this overabundance of emotions. Will it be with anger or will he just go in his safe heaven world of “Moon”. The only time I have seen is real emotions are in his anger and when imlie was shot. Let see what they show tomm when Malini disappears.

I sincerely hope this is not a way to balance the two relationships and make us prepared for oncoming OTT romance of Aditya and Malini.🤢

LOL we can never fully be sure and ofcourse the writers will find ways to keep hovering between the two relationships but I think atleast for a bit, Adi will follow through on trying to make amends with Imlie and that will bring them closer as Adi interacts normally with her without constantly trying to push her away with scolding. This also makes the possibility of him getting the college admission done more likely as a part of his amends with Imlie.

Malini's insecurity will be an omnipresent backdrop I guess but it remains to be seen how much she actually follows through on it.

Waise aaj bhi family ki ladies were teasing Sundar for getting another present for Imlie😆....so full chances that Malini may get diverted by thinking Imlie-Sundar are a thing and she won't fixate on Adi-Imlie as directly for a bit😆

Imlie aisa darr jaati hai one can see her backing off and suppressing the legit feelings of her too as if she isn't already puri duniya main akeli ke the one person who might understand her due to being in same situation sharing the secret she isn't allowed to talk to him too as he is followed around and waise bhi dhyaan nahi deta but jab deta hai toh naap tol ke baat karni padti hai. Adi imlie thrive when they can share openly pain hurt happiness anything but straight from heart yeah watchdog banke malini pushes them into such a strange category I can't even name it they feel so begane

I think mayuri had quite a range in that scene. We are all so blown away by sumeer that we are pleasantly surprised by such scenes from other actors. She did the scene really well from guilt to creeping but barely noticeable doubts to insecurity to full blown insecurity to fear. The episode is the start of the 3 episode good quota for this week😆. It is not mayjri's fault she was good and she is generally a good actress who doesn't let things get repulsive mostly but it is the character that is being shown so one dimensional and so fake now at times having no real realizations or idea but Dustin ki feelings which is ironic caz she is always lecturing adi ke woh mahi samjhta yeh yet it is her who just in her need to win and be the one having the last word always goes around snubbing har kisi ki feelings around her. Be it adi, inlke, ac or her sasural walas.. it is all good until.it is according to her but the moment the mortals say something she has to pull an emotional scene ke mera koi nahi sochta.. khid sochi ho tum

I was glad he was telling her to stop crying even if it had the order tone the 2nd time round it was softer so I would take it as a mix between order and request caz babusahib itna bhi softness laaye in his tone miracle hai🤣

This was my fav moment today.. kinda unsaid pride thing.. again questioning her status kinda was a rblow on his status or it looked liked that to me so he went return it right away you are above this irna bhi regard dia adi ne phir chahe it involved his swarth ke uspe bhi question utha uthaya toh sahi ek clear stand toh tha iska on this.. I wish isne khud uttar ke de di hoti chain..phenk deta jaise ac threw the other one

So true, this was quite a moment, when Aditya was already emotional after hearing Imlie recount her story. banda was already pareshaan and his patrakaar dimaag perked up - when he thought why Dev and dadi are gifting an expensive chain to Imlie...

Hope he continues to look into this... he is a reporter and good one at that.

@bold: Wohi toh....Malini's problem is that she is opinionated to the point of being oblivious about rishte also. Being assertive is one thing.....but doing it to the point of obliviousness is simply insensitive to all relationships - even the ones you claim to be fighting for and taking a stand for.

And I agree, no matter how bad AC is, jab apni mom ko bhi sabke saamne aise "sunne/sunaane" waali baatein karoge toh usmein bhi ghataav tumhara hi hoga ultimately. It's amazing that Malini doesn't seem to realize one bit how this impacts all her relationships....apni Maa ko 2-4 baatein sunaake she isn't saving anyone's maan in her sasural either. And cutting off her husband like this in front of everyone also brings down the respect of their relationship.

The core point once again is that Malini nahin samajh paati the class difference between her and the Tripathis. In her head, she thinks she was fighting for Imlie's respect by demanding she be allowed to receive the gold chain from her grandma....what she doesn't seem to realize is that jab ek status difference ho toh DONO sides ki feelings ko respect karke gifts exchange hote hain.....not just one side. And if one side is noticeably richer, no matter how well intentioned you are, dusri side ko tum awkward kar hi rahe ho. Your putting a label on it doesn't justify it.....and frankly you ORDERING people to do your bidding makes it worse.....Malini more or less so strictly made Imlie take something that she wasn't happy about taking one bit. Kyun itna uncomfortable karna kisi ko just to prove your own point?

Adi ki tadap was again also cuz he feels that humiliation personally and connects himself to the same working class background as Imlie....so he was again responding from that mindset but Malini again just CUT HIM OFF and bilkul bhi nahin samjhi why he was asking to return the gift.

Word on everything you said about Adi-Imlie.....they thrive when they are allowed to interact on their own without constant hovering....pata nahin writers kab meherbaani karenge us point pe.....lol

It could have been something else had adi himself gone and realized ke she was right in counting him as every other person only considering her below his level albeit different reasons.

Also the daant needs more shades and nuances too. I get it you want to make it their thing and I am ok with it as far as it always isn't about putting her down make it 100 shades of daant like you had in another show of yours jahan har flavor of daant dikhta tha and the evolution happened over time as the relationship evolved.. it was still a thing but one could read why and where the characters were coming from... stop making adi so dependent on cues from others .. why can't he just do anything from his own will. So true.. she is kind of become a Dadima of the house.. whatever she says go... aaj valentine party Karni hain, everybody get up Imlie go wish karna hain, Imlie ko surprise party dena hain, Adi go sit with Imlie., Adi come here, Adi go there 🤣. I means I am not saying that those things are not nice but she also a new DIL, there is no asking anywhere, there is only telling. My irritation totally peaked when his mom said “are you going ke Malini ko Bulao”, like seriously. You are the saas and his mother for god sake. And they have made Aditya a Kathputli in her hands as if he does not have any thinking power. As you said Adilie interactions are also governed by her and if she sees slight closeness, there will be a stern “ kya chal raha hain ya” as if she is watchman.

Also, Didn’t they have this whole discussion about the car thing the how can she just accept the gold chain even for the naukrani. Like can’t you see the big bhabhi and husband’s sister over there. It’s a gold chain for god sake, and why will you not think that if your pati has problem with car then how can he be ok with a gold chain? You are thinking apman of you Dadi, what about your husband and Sasural? Mujhe to T’s ka hi samajmein nahin aata... they were ones were insisting to do things at their home during marriage as per their level and now they are ok with accepting the gold chain. Aise sasural wale hote hain??

Then there is this whole thing about when last time there were so many problems in your family because of Imlie, why would you even invite them at home for her birthday? Malini seriously needs to understand that she needs to be a wall between the two household and she needs to balance so that no household are insulted in any way and her Dadi instead of telling her these things, is the one creating the problems.

I just hope that now that they have fixed Malini , they get Aditya’s character straightened out soon because this last week’s katputli Aditya is definitely not the one that they introduced us to and I do not like this version at all. He just putting me off with every episode.
