Bad News Harshad Chopda Fans: Sony TV's Humsafars to end

06 Feb 2015 02:31 AM | TellychakkarTeam

Sony Entertainment Television wrapped up Itti Si Khushi in mere three months. And now the channel is all set to end one of its another show in four months.

Yes, it's closure time for the popular show Humsafars (4 Lions Films) starring Harshad Chopda and Shivya Pathania which launched in September last year.

You certainly heard it right...

A reliable source confirms, "The channel took the decision of shutting shop Humsafars recently. The production house and actors have been informed about the development."

Humsafars which witnessed the story peak of Sahir and Aarzoo's marriage got into a thrill zone recently. However the intrigue factor did not work wonders with its ratings.

As of now, it is believed that Humsafars will end in the last week of February. We hear that Guruodev Bhalla and Dhaval Gada's show with Ram Kapoor as lead will replace Humsafars in March.

We tried buzzing Producer Gul Khan, but did not get any revert.

Our effort to reach the channel spokesperson was in vain.

Guess this news will come in as a shocker to many...

well, i saw it coming ! Sony is very bad at marketing !
And in Humsafars case, more than the channel, the team ( behind the camera ) is to be blamed. You cannot throw a garbage at viewers and expect them to take it with a pleasant smile. Now all they are doing is a copy past of Rebecca and Qubool hai !

I hate to say it perhaps its for the best! Its 21st century and a show showing a polygamous marriage where both the couple consented to it can only run for so long. Its show that most Indian viewers have progressed a long with the times. The way they showed Arzoo accepting to the fact being insecure instead of offended or feeling wronged was just not natural for the current women.

I just hope that they end it properly and reveal everything properly instead of just throwing all the nonsense again. This was expected there was no strong base for any of the things shown which was messed up

@Bold Exactly !I took that as an insult to the women of my generation ( which Arzoo belongs to ). She is in a polygamous marriage, its doesn't bother her ? she is busy romancing, ven accepted that they are humsafars 😲 i would have at least prefered her maintaining a distance from him yet helping him in his difficulties. But she is acting lovely to him 🤢 Less said better about Sahir !

Yes post marriage the character of Arzoo got butchered badly too. It was very distasteful the way she was happily ready to accept status as the second women. Saahir toh Saahir hi tha. Glad there ending this day to day torture.

I think they took the ''brand is more important than creativity '' though very seriously ( though in the show they showed its as important as creativity )
Can't say what i want to, becoz of IF rules.

There was no improvement in the ratings , so this was expected ... but I still feel last date is not confirmed and it might go on for sometime till that Ram kapoor show is ready ... so I just hope CVs wrap up all tracks properly instead of dragging with this past mystry forever ...

Mayb if fans wish , we can get a change in timeslot instead of abrupt end .. because tracks will need some time to wrap up ..

Nooo...I hope this is not true!! HS is truly a unique story. If the serial had to be a finite one, how I wished they had stuck to the original storyline instead of getting embroiled in all these fake pregnancy and deal tracks...
