(Hey.. I just started watching Humsafars and I am new to the Humsafars forum so I hope you like this one shot as an opening gift. I love Sahir and Arzoo. This one is based on the precap for tomorrow.)
Arzoo felt Sahir going limp in her arms. His hand detached from Arzoo's as he fell to the floor. For a moment, Arzoo stood there shocked at the happening. When realization finally kicked her, she screamed for help as she fell beside Sahir.
"HELP!" Arzoo screamed. "HELP! Sahir? Sahir? Wake up. Wake up Sahir." Zaki came running along with Alvira who helped Sahir up and rushed him to the hospital.

Arzoo sat out the operation theater, praying to God for Sahir safety. She was nervous and didn't know what to do. No matter what her relation with Sahir was but she still cared for him. He was her husband and he meant so much to her. Only now, Arzoo realized the full depth of her feelings towards Sahir. They weren't hate but something different. Something she hadn't thought would flourish. Something that happened so suddenly, even her heart did not know. She was in love. A love so deep that her heart yearned for Sahir's side, his touch and his care. Her only solace for God, whom she trusted more than anyone.
"How is he?" Zaki asked the doctor. This statement snapped Arzoo out of her trance. She quickly got up and made way to the doctor.
"Is he out of danger?" Arzoo asked. "Is he safe? Is he okay?" All the questions rushed to her mouth and she was a minute near to breaking apart. Each second felt like a year and each moment felt like a century. She was desperate to see Sahir. She wanted to run into his arms. She wanted to be in the protection of his arms. She wanted him.
"He's fine." The doctor replied. "He would be on bed rest for two months, at least."
"Can we meet him?" Arzoo asked impatiently.
"Only one." The doctor replied. "We cannot burden or stress him."
Everyone looked at Arzoo, telling her to go. Telling her it was her right to meet him first. All of them ushered her to go inside, while the rest left for home as Kurti Apa started a tantrum. They had promised to come first thing in the morning. They soon left Arzoo for Sahir.
Arzoo slowly walked inside, scared what she would see. Sahir had her eyes closed, and expression showed he was in pain. Arzoo felt her stomach knot. This wasn't what she expecting. The doctors were supposed to take the pain away. She slowely walked up to him and sat beside him. Sahir opened his eyes at the sound.
"Better?" Arzoo asked.
"Hmmm." Sahir forced a smile. "You were crying?" At the statement, Arzoo let it go. She carefully clung to him, making sure he wasn't hurt. She cried all she could and Sahir with his better hand hugged her.
"I..I was so..so scared." Arzoo cried. "I thought I lost you."
"I'm right here." Sahir smiled. "Right with you." Arzoo got up and wiped her tears.
"Let me go get the medicines." Arzoo said as she tried to get up. However, Sahir caught her hand pulled her back, wincing at his action.
"Why were you so scared?" He asked looking in her eyes.
"I..." Arzoo was left speechless.
"Why, when I was hurt you were so helpless?" Sahir asked. "When I was near death, you felt your heart crumbling? Why Arzoo? Why?"
"Because I need you." Arzoo told him.
"Why?" Sahir asked.
"Because I.." Arzoo looked away, "love you." Sahir only pulled her closer at the response. He slowly kissed her cheek, smiling while doing so. At least the gunshot had brought him some good in his life.
