What a 24 hour time period it has been for Arzoo!! Buoyed by Sahir's attention and his declarations, finding a good friend in Zaki, a guardian mom in Alvira coupled by her professional growth at Saiyyara it looked like she was finally free from the hard knock life that had chased her all this time... only to have it come crashing down almost burying her in the implosion.

She wakes up traumatized. Before she can even be consoled, up comes grim reminders of a painful conversation with Sahir who wants her out of his life and house. Her desperation in attempting to get out even when she is mentally and physically weary, wraught in despair, unable to even share with her mother the reason... yet when sees Zaki she pours forth with her eyes brimming "You knew everything, yet you did not tell me anything!!". Sahir declaring everything was a sham and staged, Zaki and Alvira hiding the truth from her.. they were the cause and they were the effect..from zenith to abyss.

It was an equally matched episode from both Sahir (please a little less of self infliction) and Arzoo's POV. 4 Lions is one of the few PH's who when presenting female protagonists POV often comes up with memorable scenes. Today it was about Arzoo, surrounded by family yet totally alone. Shivya delivered a commendable performance of a girl shaken to the core, living through the worst nightmare of her life.

Thank you. A character that is likely to be scorned on paper has been transformed into a character one is made to empathize with, I think it speaks volumes about HC's acting caliber😃 A good story telling always needs to be balanced from both POV's and that's what the episode did. Shivya's makeup and her demeanor today totally in sync with Arzoo and that to me tilted the scales in her favor for the episode today😃

I agree Savs. HC has been amazing as Sahir...to keep viewers empathising with such a dark character is definitely an acting coup, where no matter how ruthless Sahir is being his vulnerability comes through. A more balanced scale both story telling and performance wise makes for a better show. Oftentimes I have felt that Shivya fell short of HCs acting skills. She was adequate but could not quite match up to him. It worked in the initial episodes when Arzoo was the young upright confident girl from Lucknow. There was a certain freshness which was endearing but as the emotional intensity built up she started falling a little short. But yesterday she did good.
