Hey everyone! :)
Since I'm extremely in love with Sahir and Arzoo and couldn't stop thinking about the present track.. So I had decided to pen something down! I belong to the category of 'strictly reading' and have hardly jolted something down but couldn't help it and I fervently hope you like it and so let me know about your reviews both good and bad are warmly welcome.. :)
Disclaimer I haven't come across any OS regarding this track and any resemblance is purely unintentional.
Betrayal is what exactly he felt and to be honest with himself he didn't even know what made him feel that, why did it feel like someone had pushed him in a never ending purgatory? Why did the hurt which had made a permanent place in his heart which for some unknown reason that had started diminishing, was back and with a vengeance?
What was wrong with him? He had, after eons actually struck the deal which made him have sleepless nights solely as he was on a mission to accomplish what he had promised to his wife..
He should be happy.. Ecstatic in fact.
But why did he feel betrayed in the worst way possible?
And just like that he got his answer in the crudest way possible.. A recollection of what he had witnessed just a few hours ago. His brother and the 'Dhokebaaz' as he now thought of her, sitting in the hospital and his brother comforting her while the nurse had asked them to wait for the Pregnancy reports..
That scene unfolding right in front of his eyes had him rendered just not speechless but he was also gripped with an irrational fear and fury had unleashed which had urged him to inflict pain and this time he didn't want to be the only one on the suffering end.
And the next thing he knew was he felt the softest of skin holding his palm and she looked up. That's when Sahir Azim Chaudhary's heart skipped a beat. What he saw in those honey orbs was concern which was directed at him, he was always the believer of the saying that 'eyes are the windows of a soul'. They have the ability to show exactly what a person really feels and especially when it comes to this particular lady she had the most expressive eyes. The happiness, sadness, confusion, surprise, excitement, determination or whatever she felt at any given moment was etched on her beautiful face and reflected in her pretty eyes which without trying to sound really cheesy twinkled like bright stars!
Bright stars?! Really.. It sounds way too cheesy! Pretty eyes.. Beautiful face??
Is he even hearing himself? This can't be Sahir.. There was something just not right about his thoughts which had come to an abrupt halt.. Thankfully! Muttered the side of him which was trying-to-keep-an-arm-distance with her but the respite was short lived as the lady who was now unconsciously a part of his thought process more often than not, was now tending to his wound which he had no idea of and when the glass had shattered or by the way the glass had pricked his skin looks like the thought of his breaking something had caused..
And just like that he and his infamous and uncontrolled fury had taken over and without even considering his actions he had shoved her hard and right across the room. What happened next was something Sahir Chaudhary would never be able to explain but that yelp which almost sounded like a cry filled with hurt and the reason was probably both physical and emotional,unnerved him in fact made him taste bile. He couldn't believe the extent to which he had stooped and that hurt made him almost choke.
He all but almost ran to her aid and was helping her get up on her own feet when a memory of not so long ago had resurfaced and he pushed her again!
He couldn't actually understand himself or the enormity of his actions and staggered back by the feelings he felt within a span of a nanosecond. That's when he looked at her and what he saw there was something he was sure would be etched in his memory forever. The look of sheer disbelief and something akin to repulse..
And that's it I guess.. I've been toying with this piece since forever and I'm so not sure about it.. But I really hope it was worth your time.
