I know one has to keep brains off while watching hindi soaps but the shock treatment scene was really funny. I think the director or creatives googled or read somewhere and got the idea of shock treatment. Cardiac shock is given to the heart/chest and not to the hand. Also if they use ordinary electrical wire there is no control over the amount of electric current and any person could die.
