Episode 8 – Update by Pranx
Vish saves the trainee, Pauli from the clutches of the lecherous Mr. Kharate. She is very scared and in deep shock and doesn't know what to do. Vish tells her to lodge a complaint but she refuses, fearing humiliation. She also makes Vish promise that he wouldn't tell anyone about what happened. Not knowing what to do, Vish takes her to his room. He makes her sleep on the bed while he himself sleeps on the sofa. (Gentleman Vish!)
As Vish had stayed up the entire night looking after Pauli, he oversleeps. He is woken up by a call from Shelly's PA who tells him that Shelly wants to meet him urgently. When vish goes to the bathroom to freshen up, he finds a glove and Shelly's flight details hidden behind a pipe. The glove was similar to the one found near the Maharani's stolen jewels, while the flight details were a copy of the one handed to him by Ashok. He is mystified to find those things there but doesn't think much about it. Just then Pauli screams. She had heard footsteps outside and is scared that Kharate has come back for her. Vish, dressed in a ganji-pyjama, shaving brush in one hand, towel in the other and a half shaved beard opens the door to find Shelly outside! (I must say, he looked very cute, like a kid caught eating chocolates!) Shelly sees his condition and sees Pauli sleeping on his bed and walks off in disgust. Vish is just standing there at a loss for words. (And I was disgusted with you Shelly)
Later Shelly is firing Vish in her cabin. She just doesn't give Vish a chance to explain himself. Vish cannot bear it any longer and shouts"MISS SHELLY…" Mr. Sahai comes in with Mr. Shah right at that instant and sees the explosive situation. Shelly immediately tells him everything that she saw. Vish is unable to defend himself due to the word he had given to Pauli. Mr. Sahai believes Shelly's version of what happened and tells her that she is free to take her decision regarding vish and he wouldn't interfere. It's a body blow for Vish. Very emotionally, he tells Govind that he came back to HK on his insistence only and he should be given at least one chance to prove himself innocent. Both father and daughter remain unmoved. Shelly suspends him till the enquiry is complete. (AV was amazing in this entire scene. He just looks so great when he's angry.)
The staff is shocked. Mallishka, who is Akash's mole in HK goes to tell him the news but finds the Kabir Bedi look alike there. Nick, the disgusting Nick sets a trainee to trail Vish in the hotel. Shelly's very disturbed with what has happened and goes to her room. When she enters it, she finds it decorated with flowers. She's surprised and double checks to see if she has entered someone else's room by mistake. She just looks around in wonder when she sees Nick. She asks him what the special occasion is. Turns out that he wanted to celebrate Vish's suspension from HK. (How much more disgusting can you get?) This time even shelly is put off and walks away.
Meanwhile Vish is discussing the entire thing with Payal and Mrs. Hawkins. He shows them the glove and the letter. They realize that only Ashok could have planted it in Vish's room since he was the only one who had a copy of the keys to Vish's room. Ashok was the culprit all along.
The trainee is spying on them all this while. Later Nick is teaching the trainees the perfect way to welcome the guests. The trainees smear him with rose water and 'gulaal'. Shelly drags him away from there. The trainee comes to report that he saw vish with Payal and Mrs. Hawkins. Nick wants to know what they were discussing but unfortunately (for Nick and fortunately for Vish) the trainee couldn't hear their conversation. Shelly thinks that Vish is now instigating the staff. Pauli asks the trainee why he was spying his seniors. He says he didn't want to but was forced by Nick who threatened to fail him if he didn't do so. Mrs. Hawkins sneaks into the locker room and opens Ashok's locker. She places the glove inside and is about to remove the original account book when Shelly catches her. Mrs. Hawkins does not know what to say but Colonel saves her by saying that he authorized her to open ashok's locker on receiving a tip from Vish. He even shows her the glove piece. Shelly arrogantly says that he should not attach much importance to the word of a suspended employee. Colonel shots right back saying that a person is innocent till proved guilty. Shelly takes the account book from Mrs. Hawkins and leaves.
She shows the book to Mr. Shah who says everything is in order in this book including the bills which he had asked for. She tells him that she found the book in Ashok's locker. Eager to implicate Vish, Shelly asks him if it is possible that Vish hid the book in Ashok's locker deliberately. But Mr. Shah, showing a rare glimpse of his intelligence says that the book is proof of Vish's innocence and it would not make any sense for him to hide it. Just then, Pauli comes to meet Shelly. Shelly goes into a sisterly mode comforting her, saying that Vish tok undue advantage of her. But Pauli tells her the real story of what actually happened. Shelly is speechless. She asks her why either of them told her what had happened. (Well, did you give them a chance to explain?) Shelly calls up Priyesh and tells him to ask Vish to report to his workstation immediately and also to ask Kharate to leave the hotel. And then she starts smiling, god knows for what!
At Vish's home, Mrs. Hawkins calls him up and tells him the locker incident. He asks her not to worry. Payal comes and decides to live with Vish. She keeps unpacking while Vish keeps packing her stuff back again so as to make her leave. But she is in no mood to listen. Just then Vish gets the call saying he has been reinstated. Both of them are very happy and Payal decides finally to leave.
