me thinks that the show relies heavily on the shock factor... you will never know what can happen the very next moment... but its basically about the power struggle between various provinces or royal families but there's lots and lots of violence and extreme graphic scenes... and I mean a lot

I remember when I watched the first episode I thought it wasn't my cup of tea and quit watching...but then I kept hearing what a great show it is...so decided to give it another try...and like many others have already mentioned here...once u get past the first couple of episodes u will most probably become a fan of GOT forever... Its probably the best series in the tv history if u consider the story telling, grandeur, finesse and the scale on which it is made,.. it has everything from horror, adventure, romance, shocking twists...(and a lot of sex & nudity too ...so don't ever try to watch when ur parents are around 😳)

ya ... but that bit of Jon-snow's love story with that wildling (can't remember her name) was quite heart-touching 😳
