Being very generous ..she was only there for 10 min..if we count her total screen time

extremely half baked role

just coz you are a negative character does not automatically make it well arched. There were no details to her character..no depth to it..no layers to it..she breaks in a random scene..utters a line and then disappears..

what an embarrassment to some one who has played complex roles like aitraaz..fashion..7 khoon maaf..barfi..marykom..

she was simply wasted and how

Deepika regardless of how she acted at least had a decent enough role in XXX where she was there for a good 3/4th of the movie atleast with a proper background and detailing to her role

but Priyanka is ridiculously wasted in a joke of a role

Also she was overdoing it..was very OTT

I felt sad coz this actor was raising bar in BW with some extremely good roles and acting and she decides to do this..

what happened to her stance of doing only meaningful roles? Baywatch is surely not the one and even for a debut..she could have gotten a better deal..esp after the kinda work she has done..this was utterly embarrassing

What did you just say.

Her role was modified from a male to a female one just to get pc on board. Extreme changes were made in the script for queen🤣. You need to rewatch scenes and maybe then you will be able to comprehend the amazing role pc had. She is the best villain ever. 😆

Sad that even with a lesser role she wasn't left out of most reviews, still been hailed by plenty as the best thing in the movie

I watched some of the episodes of Quantico. Her acting was so bad and unconvincing there. Other actors in the show were better than her. Couldn't believe she's the same actress who acted in movies like Barfi, Fashion.

Glad I am not the only one who sees that. 😆😆😆

Having said that, it would be unfair to point fingers at one members. Almost all members are like that. In fact Bollywood itself is like that. You give hits, not many cares about anything else. Like Salman is suddenly a good actor now thanks to his hits. But he was being trashed for being a nonactor by almost everyone in his flop phase. 😆😆

However, Priyanka is definitely overrated and I won't be shocked if she is bad in the movie. She was so bad in the trailer.

Her dialogue delivery was a joke. That's for sure.

Honestly kudos to PC for breaking into the west. The tv show was a good opportunity and choice. But imho this movie was not.
I mean I get the whole- one should grab opportunities, diversify themselves, learn new things etc. Cheers to that. But the contention is PC was touted as the best actress BW had before she left. The girl has talent. I don't understand...why would someone who has worked so hard (11 years?) to build a reputable career would downsize, compromise on quality and content just for a HW movie? I get the whole- she gained more popularity. But from being the most sought after actress who was offered meaty roles to being a side kick in a HW movie is a big joke.

If one truly has faith in their capabilities, their talent, their worth I don't see why they would give it up for more- fame, or dollars. Starting from scratch can take a big hit on the ego especially when you are worth a lot more.
Excuse the hyperbole but it is like an Indian businessman moving to the west to start fresh in the manager level position. It doesn't make sense to undervalue yourself for something as intangible as more opportunities or new learning experience. It cannot even be called a risk to push your limits.

Anyway hopefully this stint helps her with her HW career and she gets good roles. But idk anything will ever compare to what she had in BW.

It makes perfect sense coz desis go to the West and don't mind being drivers or waiters whereas they would never do a job like that back home. So I suppose PC doesn't mind being a sidekick in the West because offers seem to have dried up anyway. Her last movie was a pathetic Jai Gangaajal and before that it was a supporting role in Bajirao Mastani. She is in mid 30's Bollywood cannot offer much. So if she has to do second rung roles Hollywood only is better.

Having said that, she was never the best actress we had. She was good but very inconsistent. Not always good like Tabu.
