Britney’s Libel Lawsuit

Britney Spears' lawyers were in court in Los Angeles on Thursday to pursue her US$20 million libel lawsuit against Us magazine. The pop princess filed the suit in December after the magazine reported Britney and husband Kevin Federline had made a sex tape – a claim the couple vigorously deny. The magazine's lawyers have asked for the suit to be thrown out of court. The next hearing will take place on May 3.
