Raj Baddhan: So I've been building this slot up for the last few days well issiliye because i've got a very special and a very beautiful actress. I've been googling her and been checking out some images of her and itni sundar hai ki haye, even I feel nervous talking to her as well. Course the former actress of miley jab hum tum and course the lead actress of Hitler Didi on Zee Tv .. I'm talking about the beautiful Rati Pandey .. Hi Rati

Rati : Hi Raj , How are you ?

Raj : I'm really good thank you so much for joining me this afternoon

Rati : I appreciate that after so long I have got so many compliments.. like you appreciated about my beauty and I'm really thrilled

Raj : Yes of course you are beautiful! And you are looking Ravishing in the show as well and also off-screen .. Thank you very much for joining me here this afternoon

Rati: My pleasure

Raj : So for the newbie's tell us a bit about your role in Hitler Didi , the show has been doing so well on Zee Tv and in the UK as well in India .. Tell us a bit about the role you play

Rati : Hitler Didi , is a totally contrast role I'm playing , from what I've played before in miley jab hum tum . It's about a girl who has become as Hitler , she's not actually Hitler . but her circumstances , her situations in life and her family were as such that she had to become stubborn and a very strong headed girl who looks after her family and she's the only earning member of her family. So basically she has lost her smile and the charm of her life and her main motive is to look after her family .

Raj : You have got this stern image in the show , a very strict image.. How difficult has it been playing this kind of a role?

Rati : A little difficult , off-screen I'm very disciplined , being a Virgo I'm a perfectionist , in nature I am very bubbly , I cannot stop laughing , I just like a happy environment . I like to be happy all the time unlike Hitler Didi , so it's a little difficult to portray that role but now I'm used to it , it has been 1 and a half years .

Raj : Rati when you were approached for the role , playing a role with the name "Hitler" being the lead role in it , how did it feel .. were you a bit nervous about playing a role with that kind of name?

Rati : People associate me with Hitler , I never whip people like Hitler (laughs), I never beat them but yeah something is similar that I use my sandal , I beat them with my sandal and my slap is very popular , I cannot stand injustice .. But im totally unlike Hitler , Hitler was very violent but not Hitler Didi , so people in Chandni Chowk the residents they associate me with Hitler , that's why this show .. this girl is called Hitler Didi .

Raj : Rati since I've announced that you're going to be on the show , there is a massive fan base of yours that have been getting in touch with me from all around the world . So you are going to have to bear with me because there are so many questions from the listeners , from your fans

Rati : oh I would love to answer them

Raj : Okay first of all , this is an email from one of your loyal fans , she's been constantly saying to me when are you going to be interviewing Rati Pandey on the show , so finally I've got you here. Her name is Priyasha . She says hello Rati , I'm such a huge fan of yours , you are a great human being , a down to earth person , you are so beautiful ..love the way you are and love the way you smile , talk and your expressions are just superb and the list goes on and on . You are my favorite always . Hitler Didi was is and will always be my favorite show and you're doing a fab job . Wish you all the happiness in the world and that you keep climbing the stairs of success .. Raj : So Rati any plans of joining Twitter?

Rati : See Raj I really don't have time , I don't have time for myself because I shoot more then 12-13 hours a day and I hardly get time to pamper myself . So I have thought whenever I would get time off Hitler Didi then I will definitely join some social sites.. I'm so bad in keeping in touch with my friends my parents, I ask them to call me everyday.. So I'm actually very bad in social networking .. Definitely after Hitler Didi when I get time I will join twitter and anyways thanks for the compliments Priyasha.

Raj : In fact can you please say to her I love you Priyasha ?

Rati : I looove you Priyasha

Raj : (laughing) How sweet😳

Raj : So yeah like I've said to you there are so many emails like that here on the show today because there are so many people completely crazy about you. So a few more questions here .

Tannu is asking .. What do you think makes Indira so different from Nupur? What makes you different from other characters you have played before ?

Rati : As I've told you before , Nupur was very chirpy and a full of life girl and Indira is a totally responsible girl who looks after her family .. She has become mature at the age of 18 when her father left them for another woman and so she is a very strong headed girl . Nupur is a total contrast she is very chirpy and full of life she never believes in bad things and she was totally filmy you can say . So there is a vast difference between the two characters I have played . One is not smiling and one is smiling .

Raj : Oh okay there you go … Kainath Sachdev is asking you which is more closer to you in terms of roles miley jab hum tum or hitler Didi ? Which character can you relate to most .

Rati : Both of them , I guess more of the popularity I have got is from Miley Jab Hum Tum and the cherry on the cake was Hitler Didi , I'm very popular from Hitler Didi also . I will never differentiate my work because I love whatever I do , whatever I choose .. I love my work it's my passion .

Raj : by the way Kainath also wants to know who your best friend in the industry is ? Who can you kind of easily phone in the industry and say cmon lets meet up for a cup of chai or something .

Rati : My best friend , I actually don't befriend anyone from the industry , im friends with everybody but I don't socialize as I said , I'm very bad in socializing . But on the sets , Mr Rituraj who plays my Fathers role is a very good friend of mine , we are like buddies .Whenever he's not on the sets I miss him a lot . We all enjoy , he's totally like a kid so I enjoy his company a lot .

Raj : and by the way a few of the tweeters have been asking questions about the India's dancing superstar , you're meant to be hosting that .. What happened with that?

Rati : Because of lack of time I guess , the channel people thought that I would not be able to give time for the rehearsal , because as it is I'm doing a daily soap so it is very difficult to take out time , but I went for the rehearsals workshop everything and I don't know , out of the blue moon they called me and said that I'm not part of it , so it's their internal problem . I'm still surprised over whatever happened..I have forgotten and I really don't want to talk about it .

Raj: ah okay … I think we know the answer to the next question because you don't have much time . But Niharika wants to know, do you ever read fans comments on Facebook or Indian chat forums about your character and about how you're doing on the show?

Rati : Yeah kind of whenever I get time and I want to do something different rather than dancing and shopping so while sleeping I go to some websites like India-Forums and read some comments . I also get some fan messages on my personal number where I come to know about what I have done in previous episodes . They criticize me and appreciate me and I tell them to criticize me more so that I can grow further. But I'm not that much in touch with my fans and their comments.

Raj : Pranathi Mamilla is asking you're a business woman and she wants to know more about that and how you enjoy that and also how you divide your time between Hitler Didi and you being a business woman.

Rati : Yes I was handling my business before Hitler Didi , but the moment I started off with Hitler there was a shortage of time so my brother and my father were handling it together it's a family business , it's a small business which I have shut down for a while right now.. not for this year so I might think about something later next year .

Raj : Okay Yukti and also a couple of other tweeters have been asking you've got an amazing voice , now Rati I didn't know that you have such a amazing voice .. do you actually sing?

Rati : (laughing) I do , now don't ask me to sing Raj please

Raj : I was gonna say that I didn't know this so I need to experience it a little for myself , can you sing just a line for me from one of your favorite songs at the moment .

Rati : Raj I will definitely sing but you have to accompany me.

Raj : oh hahaha I am gonna suck (both laughing) . Rati which is your favorite song at the moment .. would you say Tum Hi Ho from Aashiqui 2? Do you like that

Rati : Im not that fond , I haven't seen Aashiqui yet so not that familiar , could you pick another song which is more familiar and popular. One of your favorites.

Raj: Tujhe dekha toh yeh jana sanam maybe?

Rati : Okay , you like that song?

Raj: yeah I like It but can you start it off .

Rati : Lets start with you then (laughing)

Raj : Or maybe we should start of with a more female centric number. You start for me and then I can kinda come in there doing the male chorus for you

Rati : Okay chorus (laughing cutely) fine fine chalo lets start it.

Raj : go on then , you're gonna do it for me

Rati : You're gonna ruin my life (laughing)

Raj: No im not you're gonna get a even bigger fan base.

Rati : I've got a very bad cold right now .

Raj: No no no I don't want to hear bahane like that alright.. go carry on .. sing for me

Raj : Oh wow that was awesome! I seriously cant … you are going to put me to shame , I cannot follow from that .

Rati : I cant hear your voice , cmon lets start

Raj : you know what Rati I absolutely love your voice , you are absolutely fantastic ! No wonder your fans are going crazy over your voice . I didn't know about it , I was getting all these questions about your singing and I was like huh.

Rati : I might join you as a Radio Jockey later .

Raj : haha you should , you actually should I cannot wait for that next time you are in London . So Rati that's fantastic have you got any plans of doing a music album or releasing something with your voice and singing.

Rati : yeah some of my Channel VPs who are friends with me , they are very fond of my voice especially in Hitler Didi , in the first episode I dubbed my voice for a scene , they loved my voice .. I was astonished to hear my voice also (laughing) I was like okay cool .

Raj : That's awesome really really good . So you are going to be singing more on the show soon.

Rati : Oh no I don't sing on the show , but yes I have started off with some singing competitions where I have goofed it up (laughs) Im not a professional singer .

Raj : But Rati maybe that's a really good idea for it to be part of Hitler Didi , there can be some kind of sequence where you are singing for real because you have got such a amazing voice .

Rati : Thankyou thankyou il put this idea forward to my channel (laughs)

Raj : Yeah you should. Right there is this email here from Nancy , another complimenting email . It says Hello Rati di , this is Nancy a big big fan of yours from New Zealand , I love your shows Miley Jab Hum Tum and Hitler Didi , you're my most favourite actress , you triumph over every bollywood/Hollywood actor you are just the best! I love Indira Sharma and people here in New Zealand love Hitler Didi a lot… Eagerly waiting to see which character you take up after Hitler Didi and my question for you is if you could say one memorable dialogue from Nupur Bhushan .. She goes my favorite is whenever Nupur said By God. Everytime when you say By god. And also if you could say I love you Nancy.

Rati : Mansi.. oh Nancy Nancy thankyou so much for the appreciation I really loved it and I have to say By God Nancy Kamaal Kar Diya!
Raj : Oh I love that , she is going to love it to bits , I love that Rati. So yeah this is the kind of feel we are getting , so much love I feel from the emails .

Rati : You know Raj I am feeling like a goddess right now so much appreciation.

Raj: That's because you are! You are a TV Goddess! Your fans are going completely crazy over you . There's another question here cutie doll she's asking would you ever be part of politics in real life , are you a political person?

Rati : Not at all , I hate politics and I hardly vote , im so sorry im really sorry for my country .. I really hate politics .

Raj : Another question from her is what comes into your head when you think about your ideal kind of man/person.

Rati : My Father , definitely ..because whatever I have learnt , whatever ups and downs its through my father , im still a learner ..whatever I feel im still in the learning process and whatever I am today is because of my father .

Raj : Okay sweet . What we are going to do now is we have so many questions here , so these are going to be one liner answers Rati because we don't have much time left. I've got 10 minutes so we are going to whizz through all of them . First of all its Almae who wants to know in three words about how you feel about working with Sumit on the show .

Rati : Just one word answer..

Raj : Is he a friendly guy to work with , there has been many rumors about working with sumit ? Any problems.

Rati : No no not at all my co star is a very reserved person , he's a very comfortable person to work with I would definitely say that..nothing as such.. Whoever is popular , the show is popular then rumors have to come, I love the rumors!

Raj : Good stuff, ok Nikhila is asking what is Ratis views about Zaras character suddenly turning negative in Hitler Didi .

Rati : See there are some issues we cannot take a stand on , there are bosses who are the decision makers . So I personally didn't like the negative track of Zara Malik Khan but yes we couldn't have a stand on it , yes I didn't like it ,

Raj: Okay another question here from Niharika , what's the sweetest encounter you have had with a fan.
