There are a lot of child artists who work in movies and TV shows where they may be expected to enact the role of a physically or sexually abused child, child trafficiking etc. I can understand and appreciate the makers because they are ultimately trying to enlighten the viewers about serious subjects that may otherwise not get discussed. But I fail to understand why a dumb and senseless show like HD has to expose a child artist to this kind of bs. More than the writers and producers, I am actually really mad at Rati and Sumit for allowing the production house to mess with this lovely young girl all for the sake of creating some unnecessary drama. I know that they have to play along the script as far as their characters are concerned, but they should really speak up for Shruti and end this nonsense.

Did doctor ask rk to get physical with LW or did he ask him to once again enact the moment with zara ?! I m dead !

He said that RK ko Indira ke sath sharirik sambandh bana lena chahiye 🤢
I feel disgusted by the mere thought that HD (the show with a difference) had been made a huge difference from reality and indifference with sentiments.

Earnshaw! I felt stuck because a so called educated man, a doctor said t hose things and that too in front of a kid... I am sure that doctors have to deal with such topics about sexual relation very often and know what and where to say it.

Exactly Doctor wil think twice about it. I am a medical student and we all are taught about it at first hand. I regret i chose this show as a piece of little entertainment.

I think those movies which use child artist and give out a message to the society also make the child understand about a social issue and things he should protest against if ever in that kind of a situation but here I don't understand why an 8 year old should know about all this.

Exactly, that's what I meant to say as well. I am sure that the makers of those films and shows are responsible enough to provide counseling and meaningful education to the child artist. And again, its for a worthy cause. I have no idea what social message the writers of HD are trying to spread.

May I just reiterate the one point that we are all forgetting?

This is HD...here, mediocrity is the norm. The show has already depicted quite a bit of adultery, although without sinking into vulgarity. (I do remember some Inder-Kutumb scenes that I thought were truly yuck and more yuck).

We are reacting to the precap, which was disgusting. I am certain they'll take care of this in the episode tomorrow. But already, they have used Shruti in ways that are unacceptable. They have shown her determined to find out about suhaag raat. Today, they just dragged it another level lower.

This role was written badly and is bound to affect the kid badly. And there can be no explanations for that. I wonder what they were thinking when they wrote her character. And with every passing day, that is more of a concern.

I wonder why shruti's parents don't withdraw her from the show. And if its about some contract , I am sure that if they tell the court of what their daughter was being exposed to , the decision would certainly be in their favour

Sex education has been made a part of many schools in india. It is included in the curriculum where docs and gynaecs arrange lectures to explain the school girls and boys separately but of standards above 7th . I am sure shruti's school must be having it too; but she is in 5th standrd,(as per the article), so dnt knw how much she must have been exposd to it. Chalo, lets take that writers /parents must have made her undrstand in best possible way and taken the scene. Tomrow i wish they show rishi and zara or more zara explaing her the thngs. That wud be a gud msg.
But the disgusting thing is doctor advicing this to rk when he knws that LW is a lunatic !! And that too speaking so loudly that any one(indu) coming frm distance could hear ! TELLyVOICES you see, have to be out loud !
