There is no two ways about the fact that for a long time now, there has been very little in Hitler Didi that can be appreciated at the story level. The show has a band of loyal followers, who have been watching it from the beginning because it started off as a very good show. But now, its a mistake to think that loyal viewers will watch just about anything without complaining. We demand quality.

Trilogy Krikos, please take note of this. There has been no dearth of feedback and criticism. The comments and suggestions are indicative of the popular opinion of the show. However, these have either been ignored or overlooked.

The show cannot run solely on the basis of the popularity of the lead pair. There has to be quality content, which is further enhanced by the performance of the actors. There is only so much that can be salvaged from nothing and the actors have been doing more than they can to lift the show from zero to something. But keeping the loyalists glued will need more than just good performances from actors. It needs decent writers and an able director. Someone who can lift the words off the page and transform it into something meaningful.

The current track is unbelievably miserable. Badly written and badly executed. I will not get into characters and their assassination. I think I have ranted enough on that in earlier posts.

A show that has potential should not end abruptly. But if the choice is between an unimaginative creative team that is dragging its feet and the memories of a show that gave us some fond moments, then I would pick the fond memories.
