there was a motion sensor little movement and all the seconds would disappear and it would burst

plus later malik broke the circuit so nothing could stop the bomb from blowing up

Yeah but they managed to get it that far. if Zara just stooped down a little bit every second while they two guys gently took it off of her, they coulve certainly avoided the situation
