I don't think it is a pretty good picture to watch an intimate scene with your family that includes your little brother/sister, older parents or sons/ doughter ! or is it ?

Plz do read my post carefully...i m not talking abt English parents, i am talking abt Indian audience watching English serials. If u can watch an intimate scene in Eng serials/ movies / ad commercials shown on TV , then why not in soaps !! Isn't it DOUBLE STANDARD !!!

And by the way i am not talking abt so called INTIMATE SCENES.

Sumit in one of his tweets had replied to a question of one of his fans that one thing he wont do onscreen is a smooch. More over he is shy. Rati too doesnt seem to be the kind who will give a smooch scene on screen. I also dont think it is necessary.

i see HD with my daughters I. don want to see such scene in HD . this is not need of story also.its not correct , to justify a mistake ,just saying others are also committing the same mistake. one should stop that mistake rather than repeating it. definitely there are ill effects on children of such scenes.

It is not a question of child exposure to smooches or they getting to see through various mediums, it rather whether your family members would feel comfortable to watch such a scene with childrens around or the children feel comfortable to watch it in front of their parents ?

Western culture is totally different from Indian culture and things which are accepted there are not necessarily get accepted in India.

I hope the meaning of family oriented shows are not changed for the sake of TRPs, if Ekta kapoor took a brave move, doesn't mean that everyone should start showing smooches in their show.

the actors in question would never be comfortable in doing such scenes either... I don't think Rati would ever do such a scene and I seriously hope she doesn't.

P.S.: I would kill the CVs and PH if they ever think of any smooching scene in HD with Indu😡

knowing sumu for so many days i don't think sumu will accept to do such a scene and rati will also never accept it i think..

i love my indian shows with not so bold moves..so i don't want such a scene not only in HD but any indian show..that what makes indian shows different..

this is just my POV..not necessarily everyone should agree..

😉Ur point is valid,👏! Nowadays, kids are very smart, smart enough to the extent that they know most of the things that we don't know. Smooches are very common on tv, but such a scene depends mostly on viewers expectations from their fav. actor or actress, be it on movies or daily soaps. If a viewer wishes to see such an intimate scene between their fav., then, if the celebrity takes a viewer's wish serious, then there's a possibility of such a scene happening on-screen. But, if they don't wish to do such a scene despite viewer's expectation and if they value their self-esteem more than anything else, then they won't. But, at the end it's their call on what to do.

As far as SuRati are concerned, if they can give a passionate hug for the scene after the farm house shaadi, then why not a smooch? But, a fact(which I believe) is that both these celebrities will not accept to do such a scene. Personally, I do not see anything wrong in a smooch, unless otherwise, older generations find it too uncomfortable!😆😉😊

Well I don't have any problem watching a simple smooch unless my dad is there...I watch eng films/serials n smooches r quite common there. N we come across Indian ads, songs, etc with almost naked people dancing n intimate scenes every once in a while. So, I don't see why the same can't be incorporated in the daily soaps if situation really demands! N Inshi is married as well! So, can't be a bad message!
As far as children r concerned, then it won't b wrong 2 say that they (6-7 yrs old included) know almost as much as we know or even more bout 'all that stuff' than we do! True they shouldn't be exposed 2 all that at a very tender age! but there is no denying that they are and will be exposed! so better tell them what is good or bad so that they can judge 4 themselves! No need 2 give details but we can and should inform bout the matters n its consequences, etc! So, as long as guidance is there, I don't think there should b a problem!
But I don't think all this is really necessary...I'll be more than happy with proper hugs and nice little romantic scenes like those shown after the end of the rape track and esp like the one after the marriage, once in a while!
