Butchering Indira's character

As if it was not enough to destroy Rishi, we have Indira now well on her path of destruction. It all began with the entry of Sumer and her going all goey eyed and forgetting that it was her own wedding.

Today we have Indira acting as is her husband is just missing, not that she has just seen him being pushed off a high building at such great height that he had either died or is dying.

So after the initial slow paced run, she gets knocked by a bike. Then instead of grabbing the next available auto to go after the truck...or back to the construction site to find out where the truck was heading, she goes to the police station.

Here is gets her brains back when she chases the PO who went off in his jeep. Now HE CAN be chased by an auto, but not her tortured and dying husband

Then she waits for him to complete his transaction, has presence of mind and braincells enough to understand that bribery is going on and she should capture the moment with a camera - flyers have to be created and distributed, you know. Police corruption is so much more important than finding her dying husband.

And then she is distributing the flyers and forgetting her husband who may be dead.

There is no person in this world who be doing these kind of things when they have just seen extremely traumatic event happening to their spouse or family.
People get mad in their grief, desperation and fears. They have no thought in their minds except to find their loved one. And here we have Indira fighting corruption

What is happening Ms Illa Bedi?

Why are you hell bent on destruction of anything that was good in HD? First Rishi lost himself. We knew Indira was prone to thought-less actions but she was never this absurd caricature you are creating

The director should realize that he is not shooting a slow romantic scene.
Man where is that desperate, frantic energy that scenes such that these warrant. It looks as if we have entered twilight zone, where trauma is not trauma

PS: sumit was really good when Rishi saw Indira, hope conflicting with trauma he had just experienced.
Rati was good for showing silent helplessness at the police station

Nice Post.
My Views Resv. As Yet To watch The Episode.

I Think News Channels & Bollywood Flicks are Enough To Show The Corruption of Our Society.

I Think PH is very Low Profile with Very Less Budget. They are hardly able to pay good salary to their Employees, Who are working under immense work pressure & writing scripts just 10 mins or 30 mins before the actual shoot with Cutting(Tea in Mumbai) & Vada Pav...

I also discussed the 1st part you wrote here in my updates.Today Indira was a little blank whereas she should have been more active anxious on seeing Rishi. She should have tried her level best to know what happened to Rishi but instead she went to the police station. She was much interested in making posters of Sumer taking bribes to solve a case.
She prefered to take an auto to follow Sumer but cannot did the same to follow the truck.

The CV's, Directors, Producers have ruined what was good left in HD. First, they made the sacred Hindu Marriage into a mockery.
Second, after showing the unconventional marriage and honeymoon to Rishi's Kidnapping.
Third, Introducing a Second Parallel Lead Abhinav to create a Love Triangle and perhaps her new Kirayedar, thus making her characterless.
Fourth, Introducing Stupid Characters into the show to play comic reliefs.
Might as well introduce 10 other lead characters and make Indira into a (you now what).

Extremely pissed off at this Trilogy Production. Dont feel like watching this Sitcom anymore.

i dunno what was wrong with the way she looked at sumer in his entry scene that people were being upset about it ...its not like she was harboring any feelings for the guy...i think she's so used to seeing selfish and bad-hearted people that she had a sense of respect for the man...she was in awe of his goodness thats it

and i think when you are so traumatized, you would do something so illogical as running after a truck rather than finding a quicker means of transportation...so i can see why she wasnt quick to think practically when it came to chasing after rishi...its like jis pe beet ti hai, woh hi jaane...of course with a third person perspective it seems dumb

but i agree with your comment about the picture taking 😆

and someone please tell me, wth is up with the ghostly version of bol na halke halke playing nowadays?...its so annoying!!!...sounds like a dying cow, whoever is singing that part 😡😆

you misunderstood me.

Ofcourse she would run after the truck. That is most instinctive reaction. I was not criticizing that.

I meant that when she was thrown off by the motorbike, why did she not seek a ride from people helping her? We have seen her doing before when she met Sameer. even today she had mental capacity enough to chase the police officer in auto after he left. I found it strange that she did chase the police officer and take his pictures.

You are absolutely right " jis pe beet ti hai, woh hi jaane". We may not have had our spouse tortured and thrown off a building. But we have family who have suddenly become extremely ill and how desperate, how aggressive and tunnel visioned we get to get them help ASAP. Indira's trauma was even greater. she may have witnessed her husband's murder. Yet she was calm

You may have a different perspective. So I will respect it.

cheers

Don't get me wrong Sachin.

I will forever appreciate PH for giving us a unique leading couple with a good story that had us hooked for past so many months.

I understand the pressures of working on shoe-string budget as well as trps.

But story arc and lead characterization is critical. Without it all falls apart as we are seeing presently. Bloopers etc are all ok.

What appears is that earlier Illa was fulfilling the role of a story manager, and now that she has other projects, there is no one to fill her shoes. We see the results in the careening storyline
