These days when many daily soaps don't last beyond six months, completing 100 episodes calls for a celebration. And when a show does better than average on rating charts, the spirits can really soar high. At least that's the case with producer Ila Bedi Dutta of Hitler Didi. The show was launched in a completely decimated 8 pm slot in November on Zee but it opened with 2.7 TVR. The show's launch also marked the channel's retracement journey from its lowest audience share in September.
Since then, while Zee has been consistently making higher tops, Hitler Didi has been consistent on rating charts with an average of around 3 TVR. "It's been an amazing journey for us and we wish to complete many more centuries," says Ila, also hoping that ratings will support the show's onward journey. Meanwhile, veteran TV actress Ashwini Kalsekar has entered the show as Sameer Diwan's lawyer. Sameer (Mrunal Jain) has been accused of raping Indira's (Rati Pandey) sister Mandira and Ashwini's character will defend Sameer in court.
