Oh my gosh, this thread is moving so fast...A few quick replies before I sign out for the night...

Nikhila (hope I am right?), earlier in hospital she said that to get her work done because she knew Rishi can do it easily. Infact Rishi also realised this so he asked her for the reward on accomplishment. Today it was more of a normal couple talk, no hidden motives, just in flow. What an idiom! Conclusion of today's episode was exactly the same - one may make plans but cannot control the outcome of it 😊. Indira planned to meet Rishi's parents but was not expecting a denial from him. Rishi planned to go ahead with commitment but never expected Indira to ask about his family 🤣.

Don't get distracted by my emoticon. I know many of you were disappointed by CV's and Indira to say very harshly "to forget her" after the acceptance/proposal yesterday. However, I am glad that this was shown because this is how a relationship should be - honest and transparent.

Indira-Rishi's relationship never grew in a conventional way of attraction, proposing, courting and committing. In this case they got to know each other through regular routine interactions, revealing their strengths and flaws in the process. I can say this from Indira's point of view because it was beautifully presented. Unfortunately I never got to see that development of feelings in case of Rishi. Though if I go back to old epis with out any pre-conceived opinion, when he arrived he never had any love interest for her. He knew her to be a hard-core disciplinarian. Hope CV's show us that growth of feeling on his part later at some point.

So coming back to episode, when Indira asked him to introduce her to his parents, she was perfectly right. When they both know each other in-n-out emotionally why not take the next step. There was no reason to wait. And if at this point, Rishi is backing off inspite of having a very good reason, it does not makes any sense. It indeed gave the impression that he is not at all serious about relationship. Indira proved through her action that she loves him. She tried to change herself for him, but inspite of that Rishi could not convince her of the same. The impression she got was absolutely similar to what Sameer thinks of Rishi's love. As an audience we know why he cannot come out in open, but as a girl I would think absolutely like Indira. I am very happy that inspite of knowing what she will loose in the process she had the guts to say to forget it 👏. This shows how selfless and strong she is.

Further, I did not make head or tail of Rishi-Sameer long drive conversation. I don't want to form any opinion about Sameer. I know he is hurt by Indira's slap and holds grudge against her, but what was the point in passing derogatory remarks about her in front of Rishi? Will wait for understanding this character more.

On lighter note, after raising the mercury level for past two days, aaj CV's humein dharti par le aaye ... jis se weekend mein hum aaraam se Rishi ki tarah teheltein rahein 😆 ... toh phir lag jaatein hain tehelne mein and sehat banatein hain🤣. Have a great weekend!

but now we need an post which going to discuss this scene[break up] from pov of rishi.

his compulsions -his mazboori-his love for indira needs more in depth analysis.
he is suffering a lot from inside but keeping a mask of smile every time.

and monday precap one more good example of of it.

he is badly hurt and and feeling sadness--
but surely he is going pick up phone as vidith and console indira.

then who is going to console him??
not only indira -but he is also hurt.
but still try to cure her sorrow.

but what about him??
indira got rishi in her side and gets his support at the time of crisis.
but for rishi-- no one is there.

nobody should be in place of rishi.

one day he going to broke completely.

i love all your thoughts and almost all the posts.

for me two things stood out equally-

indira dutifully listening to amma s advise proving agin that she s stuck being a child/ teenager hungry for approval and affection.

rishi s non verbal communication- both to indira where hes hiding and to sameer where he s trying to convey something- the desperation to express his serious feelings to a non believing brother and the desperation to hide his serious feelings to a trusting indira.

and nels- the beginning of his feelings are kind of portrayed from the macau wedding - when he s suddenly feeling happy that he will be getting married and then says he feels like calling indira by her name.

Raj has a very good point. Rishi is also a social human being. He expects love and support in return for his acts of kindness. He's always there to support Sharma family, but what does he get back? The only time I have seen Indu helping Rishi in a difficult situation, was when he was beaten up by Munna.

i understand indira is practical & believes in being honest & upfront about everything. but yesterday the moment she finds rishi not easily giving in to her demands...she just storms off. rishi is precious in her life...n she shud treat him dat way. cornering him by breaking off their new found love n relationship will harm her in the long run. on seeing him hesitate she could have sat down & told him that knowing nothing abt him makes her anxious. before asking to meet his parents she could have asked him certain questions abt himself. she needs to realize all things will come in good time. relationships r abt 2 people...she understands her needs (need to be something more than a hitler, need for love, need for acceptance)...but she needs to understand rishi as well...needs to understand that like any boy in love he will need to talk, discuss out things with his parents...n only then can she meet them. she might not have realized it yet, but rishi has amazingly understood all her needs & responded to them even without being asked to...so he is not wrong in expecting the same from her...once in a while at least. n now is the time when she can try to understand him...understand his reasons...she may or may not agree with the things he tells her...but he deserves to be heard. shutting him out completely is the worst form of punishment she can give him...n he deserves better if not for being her love...but for being that person whom she had once called her friend...n who also happens to b her only frnd @ the moment
