Rati dances with a baraat
She plays a cold, serious and dominating woman in the forthcoming show Hitler Didi, but off screen Rati is a vibrant, vivacious and playful girl. She is said to be a switch-on switch-off actress who seamlessly slips into the skin of the character and most of her scenes are okayed in a few takes. But when director Mohit Jha was shooting a wedding sequence in Delhi's Chandni Chowk last week, Rati could hardly carry the pretence of being all grumpy. Breaking into a jig to the sound of band baaja, she joined the baraat for a zesty romp on the street. Her director had no choice but to wait and watch before resuming the shoot sometime later.
