hi - i watched it yesterday, true they did not show a lot, but it was kind of good job in the end-fitting that huge novel into a slick 2hr film, there were some really good special effects-the broom flying over london, but the movie just touched on harry's relation with the order members and sirius black and highlighted more on cho and his relation. personally i feel the kiss was a bit abrupt and hurriedly shown.

no quiddich was shown at all,

dumbledore's acting was gret, his voice clear distinct hois personality great but THEY MISSED OUT HIS HALF MOON SPECTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

back to acting-dnile's expression adn that of lupin after sirius fell through theveil-was one of the best movie scenes ever

Hats off to david yates for making such a huge novel into a movie this small and delivering to us what we wanted to see... i mean truew adaptions have been made but they dunt bother me too much and i think the whole team should be congratulated on that... because the movie we saw was ABSOLUTELY cannon and that was amazing

well, firstly i gotta give it to the graphics soooo amazing and so canon... thats the best i liked bout this movie.. the cannon-ness of it lyk harshu ses... this movie i felt was the closest to the canon after the first two and after gof and d poa fiasco i think this was indeed a treat!!!!!!!!

I loved the dementors new luk in this movie... and the patronuses ROOOOCCCKKK... i mean the movie 3 showed one flash of light but in this one the silvery bluey tingey was AMMMMMAAA ZZZZZIIIINGGGGGG GGGGGGGG

exactly! I really forgot to mention the Patronuses(well there are so many great points that I forgot it!) They were a nice refreshing change from the white light in PoA (which is the absolute worst movie in the HP series). It was interesting to see all their Patronuses, though I forgot Ginny's(note to self: watch film again). Luna's is this cute bunny which I think goes well with her personality. From what they showed her in the books and in the movies, she looks to be someone who has a lot of compassion for animals and so I can really imagine her being very friendly with the rabbits!
Hermione's and Ron's were reat too...like Jo said: otter and a lil dog(I forgot the breed)
The dementors were...interesting....I thought they were uncloaked or something :-? But they were used to a more scary effect in this movie, they came so suddenly!

And the subtle romance between harry/ginny and the little less subtelity bet ron/hermy made me go all awwwwwwwww 😳 the ron hermy parts were awesonee...

exactly! I mean, all those looks that Ginny gave. When Hermione was telling about Cho to Harry, Ginny's face gets so small, hough she doesn't say anything. And then again in the Harry/Cho kiss part, she's turning back and look over at them for such a long time. That ws very nicely done, I loved the forshadowing very much!

And don't get me started on R/Hr..I loved how they were portrayed and the little glances and hints here and there. You could almost see it as a very subtle form of flirting😆 The Grawp scene was very nicely used to effect in the R/Hr angle.

i especially liked the part where harry comes and sees the two of them laughing and gives hermione a smug luk... tht seemed a very james-like action 😉😉😉

lolz, I missed this part coz the audience was laughing too hard and my cousin decides to call me in the theatre😳 I'll watch for this when I see it again, I promich😳

and coming to gred and forge... well they rock rock rock rock rock rock rock my world!!! their escapade was the most spectacular bit of graphics and was sooo totally NON-DISSAPPOINTING!!!!!!!!!! i mean it was exactly lyk i thought it would be and much much better... and the close up of rons face when that W was etched into the sky was a brilliant peice of direction... i mean ron was so proud of his brothers at that time....
F&G rocked big time!!! I really loved them and the general graphics have improved a LOT in this movie, so OotP scores in this dept. too!!
The 'I love u' chocolates gift scene was the best, I sooo wanted to see such a scene you know!🤣 The Weasley "W" was a nice addition

and about dumbledore he was a BIG dissappointement as usual cos well micheal gambon doesnt have the presence.. i mean the 1st 2 movies mein Richard HArris potrayed ddore so well and the geth and presence was there... and in this guy there is no geth and the way he carries himself isnt at all good.. i mean wen ddore enters a room the whole roon feels his presence and in the first 2 movies it was so well shown but here itw asnt and that has been a dissappointment since movie 3 so well ...

Yeah I know, I have been really disappointed with Gambon too!😳 He doesn't do justice to the role of Dumbledore at all. He has no presence like you said. I'm hoping he doesn't botch up the next movie as its so very much based on DD.

overall ill say it was amazing and a definate must watch and very cannon.. it did justioce to the book if i may say so even if it had its flaws!!!!

Yeah I know. I mean you can't expect it to be a perfect 'dust bin' can you..maybe RSS should have shot it then😆 then it would have been 'picture perfect' with no flaws😆😆

and saving my best topic for the last : SIRIUS BLACKKKK

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaacccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkk he is so hot so sexy and so damn handsome with an attitude to match!!!!! i man his scenes just made me gooo awwwwwww... i was a bit wary bout gary after the promo pics nd all tht but OH MY GOD was he or was he so gr8 in the moviee!!!!!!!!! hes jst too goood and made me fall in love with my hubby all over again so ccute and so sweet and awwwwwwwwwwww

though i wish they could have shown his DISSAPPEARENCE more dramtically... but i cried when harry was remembering sirius after he DISSAPPEARED.... it was so touching....

well i wanna conclude with my hubby so ill leave it at that....


yeah I LOVED Gary Oldman...whoa has he come a long way from his PoA look or what?! He was so looking good! And acted brilliantly..esp loved his scenes with Harry. Dan has said that he looks upto Gary the best and loved all his scenes with him the best.

Have to say this was one of the best Potter film ever made....i do think v shud b kind n matured enough not to compare it with the book..(it has got no comparison).....This was one best of attempt made by David Yates....👏👏

About the scenes, everything at Privet Drive was cool..Dementors scene was shot fantastically..it was terrifying....trio rocked though i did feel R-H had less screen time in d movie than i expected....Umbridge,Bellatix wer damn good....Tonks was cute....n ofcourse my favourite character of Luna Lovegood was portrayed very well….cant get ne1 betta I suppose.I was totally SATISFIED!!.DA was pretty good.

Loved the first meeting of Harry-Sirius. Sirius says "Harry Potter"he stretches his arms widely n they hug..tht was so touching……….

the last part wen Voldy possesses Harry the emotions n mermories shown wer too good like the moments shared by the trio,with Sirius thn Mirror of Erised..tooooo good…..

My favourite dialogues in the movie wich r not in the book

1. When Neville tells everyone about the Room Of Requirements thr is one dialogue by Harry "Excellent!! Its like Hogwarts is asking to fight back.."👍🏼

1. When Umbridge is surrounded by centaurs she looks at Harry n says "Tell them I mean no harm" Harry replies "Sorry professor I MUST NOT TELL LIES" 👍🏼

I wished they wud ve included few R-H scenes though I njoyed occasional glances n stuff especially during Christmas when Ron opens his own present n cutely smiles at Hermione wich she returns…😳😳😳…😳…😳…😳 I loved the entire Weasley family in that scene..

They cut my most favourite Fred-George dialogues as I love the twins was a bit disappointed….their flight shown was bang on…..😃

Snape' worst memory was badly shot..dint like it at al……shud ve shown some 1 to 2mins of it….its my fav part of book…..n its important…..even the last Harry-Dumbledore talk..🤢

But the thing tht I totally hated was them showing tht it was Veritaserum tht prvoked Cho to tell Umbridge the truth abt DA..this shows Snape giving pure Veritaserum wich highly contradicts the book n Snape's character….i was pissed off totally😡…😡if they dint want to show Marrieta they cud ve shown Cho as the SNEAK….wud it ve mattered???!! (Ah! Well mayb m too much totally for Snape😳)
