Prefects have been chosen by the Hogwarts Staff(or simply..by the HPF Dev team 😆)

For Ravenclaw, we have: Shriyaroxxx ( 3 x's..hope am right this time around 😉)

Are contests the only way that Ravenclaws can earn points? I don't think there is another way, but I thought that maybe one of the more experienced Ravenclaws would probably know the answer to that.

u can help the DEV team by helping us track down spammers and keep the spamming down, help in taking care of the forum and see that its not filled with crap topics, help in filling up the archives like: Pics, articles archive(though it hasn't been made yet), u can suggest new things/games/contests/ concepts etc, notifying us about comments in a "No comments" topic etc.
Though u will have to notify the HP DEV team by PM😊 and giving us a link to the particular topic. And if it is a new game, u will have to ask for our approval😊
