- Nikhil was upset over Laajo's wardrobe malfunction and the way laajo clung to him when he went to meet her. Her pleadings hit his raw nerve. How she didnot want to continue her career and wanted to go back to Sonwarsa to her parents and want to lead a normal life as Nikhil's wife.
- Sagar to was extremely upset because of what happened and because he was feeling a stab of pain seeing Laajo running into Nikhil's arms for rescue. He remebered their time together and realized that Laajo was forbidden for him.
- Nikhil over hears Ratri's and his mother's conversation where Ratri tells his mother how she managed to make the dress fall apart. She initially thought she was about to fail when Laajo's heal broke. But lucky for Ratri, her shoe was a perfect fit for Laajo and rest is history. They were celebrating their win when Nikhil came and threw Ratri out of the house. He told Barkha that he was regretting that she was his mother. and how mean of her to embarrass and humiliate her own daughter in law in front of the whlole world.

He said these kind of slip ups are natural and that something she have to do something else to be in this industry as it is very competitive. - When Laajo told her plans to go back to sonwarsa to rancho, Rancho protested and reminded her that Laajo had come to Mumbai for a reason and she cannot just leave and go in the half way because she will be termed as a failure. Instead she should stick and fight it out and show it to the world that she is an independent woman.
- Next morning when Nikhil meets laajo once again she goes and hugs him and tells him to take her to sonwarsa. but nikhil makes her understand that she is doing what her rivals what her to do. She should not accept defeat like this and leave her career. He also told her that they are afraid of her potential and was trying to humiliate Laajo.
