The doctor told Laajo that he was really worried because of the mahamari (disease killing everyone) spreading rapidly in the village and asked her to stay away from effected people when she said she can take care of herself. Doctor chaha asked her to go home and have her lunch. She protested initially but later agreed. Laajo once home asked for food from her mother. Her mother was angry seeing her hoping around the village like and unmarried girl without her singar. She asked her to freshen up while she arranges for her food. When Laajo came out from the bathroom without her sindoor her mother got worried and told her it is abshagoon to leave her partition bare when she was a married woman. Laajo bursts out in tears her mother got worried and asked what was the matter. Laajo did not dare to share her misery with her and answered that she was unhappy with the things happening in the village. So many lives are gone and no one is sure how may are fighting for the death. Laajo's mother made her understand that there is nothing beyond destiny. If something has to happen it will happen. Ishana asked whether he wants to join her, his mother and his nani for shopping. She also said that she totally forgot that she was supposed to go out for shopping and she was wearing a saree. Nikhil assured her that she will be able to make it if she is comfortable wearing it.
At Nikhil's place Ishana came wearing a saree and everyone appreciated it. Nikhil too appreciated and asked why was she wearing it. Ishana told that because he likes it so she wore it and from now onwards she wants to dress up for Nikhil and she wants a big fat indian style wedding with him. Downstairs when Nikhil's mother praised Ishana and complimented them as a wonderful couple, she also said how misfit was laajo. Nikhil did not like a single word said against Laajo but he kept quiet. Laajo went to meet Nikhil's bua and told her that she wanted to meet her father. Laajo told that she rests in her delhi house so she likes working in the doctor's chamber when she said she should rest.
Laajo's father arrives at Laajo's inlaws unaware of Laajo's absence and asks for her. Everyone was shocked seeing him.
