23rd December Written Update
The episode starts of Ishaana's mom confronting Barkha and Nani as to why they are using her daughter in order to make Nikhil's life better. Barkha says that they consider Ishaana as her daughter and they would never use her. Aditi (Ishaana's mom) doesn't believe so and says that even if Ishaana wants to forget everything they don't let her and also says that she doesn't want her daughter having an extra-marital affair. Barkha gets angry and argues that they don't force anyone if Ishaana & Nikhil meet its not their fault. However, Aditi counter argues and exclaims that they could have stopped Ishaana in doing so if they consider her their own and also says that it is not fair to destroy Laajo's life for her own daughter's happiness. While leaving Aditi and Laajo meet accidently but Aditi doesn't respond to her greetings and leave from there.
In the evening Inder comes in Ayesha's room and inquires if she still wants to do the advertisement course. Ayesha feels sad and tells him that she wanted to but Barkha & Nani wanted her to get married. Inder however, brings the form and tells Ayesha that she can do the course, she is very happy and tells him that until the course gets over no more marriage proposals for her as she wants to concentrate on her studies. Inder agrees and puts a condition that Ayesha will have to go for the classes by public transport as he wants her to experience everything. She doesn't agree at first but after thnking they both make a deal that on some days car can be used and on the other days public transport. Laajo is looking at all this from outside and thinks about the conversation she had with her mother how studying is not important. Laajo thinks to herself that if her parents had supported her she could have studied more and made them proud.
In the village Kajri's mom is sitting with Saraswati and crying about her daughter's fate, Saraswati tells her to be thankful that Kajri was saved on time before committing suicide. Rambachan comes in the same time and tells everyone that some government form has come for Laajo's further studies. Saraswati tells that now there is no need for that Lakhi is sad that her parents didn't let Laajo study more. Rambachan agrees and says that studies are important so that whatever happens in the future the girl can be independent. He also tells Kajri's mom that if Kajri would have been well educated she would not be like this. She leaves by saying that all this happened as they must have done some bad deeds in the past life.
In the city, Nani at her home is very irriated and tells Meera that Aditi insulted them and how it can be their fault after all Ishaana makes her own choices. Meera smiles and says that everyone knows that Aditi said the truth they are using Ishaana. While leaving she gets the same smell and finds out that Nani has been using Laajo's oil. Nani makes excuses and sends her away to get coffee.
Laajo enters Nikhil's room bring in medicinal drink for his cold, but he refuses. She sees him cutting his nails and stops him from doing so as on Thursday nails are not to be cut due to bad luck. Nikhil laughs at this and says that they are living in the 21st century and also says that if Ishaana sees this she will take him for a pedicure. He also explains Laajo the meaning of pedicures, she is surprised to know that even men go the parlours. When Nikhil was not giving her the nail cutter she tickles his foot. He stops cutting his nails but asks her to remind him to cut them later otherwise Ishaana will forget him. Laajo thinks that Nikhil cares so much about Ishaana's likes and dislikes and also wonders why her destiny brought her in the middle of these two.
Precap- Nikhil's holds Laajo's hand as it is burnt, he is applying an ointment. It was hurting her so she held is hand they both are looking at each other.
