So I wonder how long it will be before Laajo questions someone about who the little boy in the picture which in turn will eventually lead to her finding out about the relationship between mother and son and why Barka treats him the way she does...She may even recall the convo she had with Nikhil at Dam/River site when he told her, her mom only yelled at her because she cares and that she should be lucky to have a mother that cares enough to do that...A little progress in the story for sure (it may be put on the back burner for a while but progress non the less).

I also wanted to mention a little bit about Barka's reaction to Laajo being in Akash's room . That was some unhealthy response to someone just entering and touching her dearly departed son's stuff...Her behavior is very detrimental to not only to herself but her family members as well (namely her relationship with her living son). The woman has made a shrine out of his room and one that ONLY she is allowed to visit. I get that she wants to preserve his things in memory of him but she took this a bit too far. Until she gets professional help she will never heal (she still may not as she seems to far gone but still she should try)...

I agree Barkha's reaction was actually not healthy, she is not in her correct frame of mind when it comes to matters of Aakash. Everyone shows different forms of grieving but the way she is shown in the room she def. needs a bit of professional help to overcome her loss. She will never be the same but she will accept death and understand Nikhil better. As for Lajjo I hope she asks Gunjaa maybe she might get some sort of response

Barkha does need professional help, she needs to see a psychiatrist and no-one has insisted that she does get help to get over what happened in the accidental death of Aakash, she has a living mother and husband that should have recognised and instructed her to seek this help. But I agree I felt they showed Laajo going into that room and Barkha's reaction to the same because they wanted to show us the realisation for Laajo that it's more then her being a villager that is the reason she is not accepted in that house by her saas, but it goes deeper then that, the route cause is Barkha blaming Aakash's death on Laajo's husband Nikhil. The CV's also showed us Laajo recognising this problem for her to dig later on Nikhil's involvement and for her to eventually start repairing the damage, so rather then professional help they will do the bahu magic...😆 like other shows it will be Laajo to bring mother and son together.

Very true. Until she comes to terms with Akash's accidental death she will never truly be able to move on in all aspects of her life...

I hope Laajo finds out soon...

Yup, her hubby and mom should have been there and persuaded her to see someone. No one else would have been able to do so as they were all children themselves (Nikhil, Gunja, Ayesha).

And yes, Laajo will definitely try to repair the damage to Nikhil and Barka's relationship once she becomes aware of it. She wouldn't be Laajo if she didn't try😊. How she'll do it of course remains to be seen...

I also wanted to mention one more thing in your post. While I agree to some extent that this could be the reason that Laajo is not accepted by her MIL (because of her failed relationship with her son) on the other hand I don't think it is the whole reason. I think her "strong" reaction to finding out that Nikhil got married without informing any of them was probably more to do with. She was okay with Ishana, in fact her husand and her had both accepted her as the DIL already, so the fact that she's Nikhil's wife doesn't have anything to do with it because they would have accepted Ishana as Nikhil's wife. I think it has to do with the fact that she is a villager. Look at how the whole family treats Meera? Anything that the poor lady has to say is disregarded as stupid because she's a villager. While Barka seems to treat her okay, I don't think she has ever accepted Meera as her SIL either because of the same mentality she shares with her mother, brother and daughter. Perhaps this stems from being married to a villager itself? Perhaps there were too many hurdles to overcome being married to a villager and she doesn't want to accept anymore in her family? If you look at it though it's actually quite funny. All those that are closest to her (blood relatives) are all married to villagers😆. Her brother, her son and of course herself. Only thing left is for Ayesha to jump on the same bandwagon😆 and they'd be all set😆.

Yes I agree, she does rule in the house with Inder, she shoots down any of his suggestions and how she does it is by a tantrums, so perhaps she's perfectly fine but she's manipulative.

She was fine with Ishana as her DIL, and poor Meera her husband, saas and SIL all don't seek her opinion, but Meera does have her way too we saw how she managed to get Nani thinking, so although they don't respect her as a family member, she still voices her opinion.

About Ayesha, I'm waiting for that too, can you just imagine how much fun it's going to be with her living in the village having to cope going to take water from a well or whatever or worse like a ghar jamai situation, possibly it will happen, some relative of Laajo's will come to the house and will be caught in a compromising situation with Ayesha perhaps and Ayesha out of spite will insist to marry him to hurt her mother who refuses her to carry on seeing Sid, so she wants her freedom so decides to get married to get out of her mother's thumb. I'm sure they are working up to Ayesha getting married to a villager too, but I favour the situation where she goes to live at the guys house with his family and have to adjust to having less.

@bold: What I wouldn't pay to see her doing that and I'm with you, I'd love to see that happen myself😆. I'm sure she wouldn't stick it out for long but it would still provide tonnes of entertainment for us😆
