So, will Nani actually heed Meera's words???

Tonight (Oct 3rd episode) Meera was giving her point of view, of course her hubby accused her of taking sides (I think Barka's whole family is very narrow minded and unfortunately can only think from a single perspective (that being of course taking the word of anyone but a villager)😆), saying that one has to wonder why Sid left his own sangeet to go upstairs and that too to Laajo's room...When her hubby accuses her of taking sides, she says I'm not taking anyone's side...I'm thinking of Ayesha...What if indeed it was Sid's fault?...Looks like she may have actually got the wheels of Nani's brain moving again 😉...Nani may actually ponder this some more and as a consequence may have to put aside her dislike for lower class village folk and think about her granddaughter future, something unfortunately Ayesha's own mother isn't able to do even when Inder made a similar comment...

The look she have after hearing Meera.I also felt Nani had slight doubt on sid.She was in deep thought.
Nikhil dad also told only Lajo N Sid know the truth. He also might have slight doubt on Sid.If Gunja N Nikhil say that Sid looked Gunja in a bad way to his dad n also Gunja's dad. Then they might make believe Ayesha that Sid is wrong.

I just hope though that she acts on any misgivings she may have, rather than shelving them because of her dislike for Laajo!

I too hope the same. Nani acts smart n find out the truth. Then ignoring because she don't like Laajo .

Meera put fw some really valid points and for once Nani is actually thinking about it...

Gunjas telling abt Sids creepy luks should remind Ayesh her own discomfort with Sid the otherday...

Hope thy just dont dragg ths issue forever...

@bold: Very true! I just hope Gunja gets up the nerve to tell everyone rather than just keep it between herself and Nikhil. That will either lead credence to Laajo's story OR they'll turn around and start blaming Gunja like they (meaning Barka) do Nikhil. Plus they might just tell her to mind her own business too

Nice post, exactly, Meera posed the question and justified her asking it because the consequences of Sid being the culprit here mean doom for Ayesha's future married to him.
But did you see when Inder posed the similar question he said, but why did she slap Sid, so that means even he is not buying Sid's explanation of events and neither is Barka really because if she was confident that Sid's explanation was satisfactory she would have used it just then to remind Inder what Sid said. She didn't because her mind is set on only one thing remove Laajo from this house and she doesn't want to discuss anything else. But the camera did swing to Ayesha when her dad asked the question, because if she thinks back a little bit she will come up with the answer, after all she heard the words before that slap. Barka wants Inder to speak to Nikhil to convince him that Sid's family will only be satisfied if Laajo is out of the house before they agree to the marriage with Ayesha, then most likely Nikhil will tell Inder about Gunja's noticing Sid's behaviour around her and tell him that Sid should not marry Ayesha it's good the alliance is broken, so what I'm looking forward to is Inder telling Barka this later. 😆

Did you see both Nanni and Barka's expressions in the precap, the camera focused on Nanni after the same when Meera asked her question, I wonder if she will speak up it looks that way and say to Barka and Ayesha to calm down and hear out what the village girl has to say. I think Laajo was going there to comfort Ayesha and point out she doesn't want a man like that really in her life and she should be happy that the marriage is not going ahead.

I liked the part when Inder gave back to Barkha when Barkha said Lajjo has done some JADOO-TONA on Nikhil, by saying look who is talking like a villager.
Nani ki tube light JAL chuki hai, now let us see what she does?
