I do love othello and I also loved omkara and whilst I'm all for something different plus appreciate there have to be some problems in all shows, I'm not sure a daily show with an overdose of the tragic angle works. I'd like to be positive but sometimes in an effort to be different things can also go too much the other way. I'm haapy if bhouji caused problems but arpi is shown strong to fight this and her and avi s love grows despite problems but if I'm watching a daily soap of this nature I personally don't want constant overt tragedy. This is just my pov, no offence to anyone:)

CB it all makes perfect sense now.
You see Avdhesh is feared by everyone outside but his own worst enemy is right under his nose----> Laila aka Bhaoji (sanju I really like the name)
anyway now the tagline makes sense 'Woh pyar hi kya jo aapki hifazat na kar sake' . This means Apri has to protect him or be his protector from his greatest enemy-----> Bhaoji.
I mean how else can Arpi's love protect his from his enemy ...definately not from the other gangster??? This is the only way, so CVs are quite right on track me thinks.... what say.

according to the promos when bauji makes advances on avdesh he does move away

and ya i forgot one more thing

I don't think story will go Omkaara way. According to articles, It is something about Avdhesh and Arpita's lovestory and how the love transforms Avdhesh ect. The background of the show and the story has some similariites but its still not the same.

I understand your POV.. but @Red- wouldn't that just be like every typical saas bahu drama? Everyone says they are fed up of watching typically same stories but ^^ that to mee that we just want to stay within the same genre and sort of the tried, tested and boring formuIa's mean we don't know the dynamics and how deep the CV's are going to take this till possibly tomorrow's episode?

The show only started over a month or so ago, so let it grow a little? I mean no harm in waiting to see what may happen no? =)
