It reminds me of the book "Hotel" by Arthur Hailey.

I suspect that Anahita is the old hotel owner's granddaughter. The photo on his desk is that of his long-lost daughter who is Anahita's mom.

I was thinking absolutely the same when i watched the episode. The photo on the desk of the hotel owner's daughter kinda gave it away. Or why would a rich girl work in a hotel serving food to others? Also in the precap the way anahita was glancing at the photo has strengthened my suspicion.
