Are we sure this is it Reemz? They did it for July too, you know! I can't believe or understand all these new angles coming to play if they are shutting shop - oh someone from the sets needs to confirm... is there any IF admin for this forum who can call SP and confirm?

Thanks Nur - I know what you're saying... like I said once before, R.com was about the only show I ever felt sad about ending and not coming back - but that was nothing compared to this... Not the show, that sense of loss! I know every show must eventually end and I don't promote stretching either - but really... this show has so much matter and potential to go on for at least a few months... Someone tell me again, how are the TRPs for this show worse than Dor, or the after noon shows? YRKKK is the greatest dragfest on this planet... how can they possibly axe Gulaal...

Quality does not matter for TV channels.

Actually Gulaal is doing better than Dor - in fact even the afternoon serials are doing better than Dor. But they've got a sword hanging over their heads too - a two month "buck up or you're finished" ultimatum.

As for Gulaal, just unfortunate that's all - a serial's success depends on many factors. They got pitted against Pavitra Rishta which is no slouch at all. An 8.30 slot would have done wonders, I feel. Why they could shift it even now - sack Dor, switch Gulaal to 8.30 and pull in new audiences with Diya aur Baati. Think about it, Star Plus! you have a good story going.

Beautiful post...

you said so many things that perfectly described the situation and brought back beautiful moments from the show...

I like the way you put it...Gulaal is the one who will fill the half empty pot of Kesar's life and bring in the maturity that he needs... and yes, the mirroe scenes were beautiful... he unaware of the effects of his anger and she, of her gentleness...

it was a pleasure reading your post and reliving the show..
