Written Update July 19, 2011

Next morning Raman, Sudha, Paan Baa, and Jamna are discussing Talli's marriage. Raman convinces her to give dowry to Kunal's family since they will not find a better guy that Talli likes. Raman says he will go with Sudha the next day to Kunal's place to discuss the marriage and will discuss the dowry situation there. Everyone leaves, and Raman tells Sudha to trust him. Talli comes there and hesitates when she sees Raman, Raman sweet-talks to her like a father, and poor Talli the orphan girl believes him and Sudha is touched to see this side of him. He tells her he will take her to the market in the evening to buy her something of her choice.

The women are packing gifts. Jamna tells Sudha that she will become alone after Talli leaves, Sudha feels sad, Jamna says at least after that she will have the opportunity to see the face of her grand kids since Sudha will be lonely. Doesn't Jamna know her son? Kesar comes there with more gifts and tells Jamna that Mota Bha said they will marry Talli with a lot of pomp and show so more gifts. Gulaal tries to catch his eye and asks him to help wrap gifts. Kesar tells her that the women are doing it, what will he do there, and if he does something the result will end up something else so he would rather not help, Gulaal feels dejected but Jamna reads their dynamic completely. He continues that if something goes wrong unnecessarily he will be blamed. Jamna tells him that if his wife is asking him then he should help, nowadays sons are lazy. Then excitedly she says that Ghigha kaka used to help her in these matters... and then stops embarrassed, Sudha and Gulaal giggle. Sudha asks him to sit and wrap a basket, Kesar says fine since Sudha is asking him.

Gulaal hands out a wrap and he coldly takes it and starts wrapping the basket. Gulaal keeps trying to catch his eye but he ignores her and focuses on his work. He looks around, she hands him a cellotape, he hesitates then takes it from her and goes back to his work. She smiles a few times but he refuses to look at her and ignores her completely, she feels bad. Paan Baa comes there and asks Sudha if Raman called Kunal's family letting them know they are coming, Sudha says yes, and Raman has taken Talli to the market to buy her a gift. Paan Baa says it would be good if Gulaal and Kesar also went with them to meet Kunal's family, Gulaal tells her they both will go as well and looks at Kesar to see his reaction, Kesar ignores her and says the basket has been wrapped and leaves.

Gulaal looks at him and calls out to him, going to him she says softly that she misunderstood him and realizes her mistake, at least now he should not be upset with her, he says he is fine and leaves, Gulaal looks on upset. Every time Gulaal tries to approach him, he melts a little but stays resolute in his decision to stay away from her - I love this role reversal, its kind of romantic.

Raman is driving Talli in the jeep and takes her to the temple. He keeps calling her "beta" (daughter), what a fraud, I cannot believe how selfish and cold he is. Kunal comes to the temple and sees Talli, he thanks Raman for bringing Talli there. Raman tells Kunal that he brought Talli there on the belief that Kunal will be her husband, Kunal assures him that he will marry Talli no matter what. Kunal tells Talli that he cannot believe she agreed to marry him, she looks so held back and it seems as if she doesn't want to marry him. He asks her if there is some pressure on her, she should tell him of any such reason, he himself will step back from this marriage. She asks him not to do that, she will talk to him. He says he wanted to meet her only to hear from her own lips that she wants to marry him. She says she wants to marry him. He feels very happy and brings her a gift.

Sudha and Gulaal are setting the table, Gulaal tells Sudha not to worry, they have prepared everything, the marriage will go quite well. Kesar comes there and sits to eat, Gulaal completes her sentence and looking at Kesar asks for affirmation to her statement (hai na Kesar), exactly the same way Kesar kept asking her sarcastically when he agreed to marry Talli (hai na Gulaal). Kesar nods yes and goes back to ignoring her. Paan baa, Jamna, and Dushyant join Kesar. Paan Baa looks at the food and says happily that they made oondhiyu which is Kesar's favorite, Kesar's eyes shine and he looks happy, Jamna says there is also potato peas vegetable, also Kesar's favorite, Dushyant says looks like all the dishes today are Kesar's favorite, Jamna says Gulaal alone made all the food today, Kesar's smile fades a bit and he looks at Gulaal, Gulaal's eyes are turned down (looks like she is shy or something, wow, that's a first), Kesar looks at her with so much love, Gulaal gives him her brightest smile and he continues to look at her smitten but held back a little. The chemistry is literally oozing on my screen, I LOVED how Gulaal reacted and Kesar is like brimming and bursting with love for her.

Precap: Gulaal tells Kesar he is right, she was wrong, can he not revert to the old Kesar. He tells her he doesn't know how to behave with her. She says like a friend, and holds out her hand. He takes her hand, and Talli comes and sees them holding hands. Hahaha Gulaal cannot tolerate Kesar's being upset with her for one single day, lol, she can dish it but she cannot take it.
