@dramebaaz: It's not about Gulaal not deserving Kesar. She's clearly saying she doesn't want to be with him and you cannot force someone to love anyone but Kesar really loves her and wants to be with her.

I can understand Revji's POV too and honestly it is admirable that he stood up for his daughter...for her self-respect, to respect her decision...no matter how much he or we as the audience may not agree with it...but what father would want to see his own child feeling SO cornered? Gulaal is lucky that she has atleast someone understanding her POV...
yes...in that way he is unlucky..but as I said...his motives are always excellent but mode of implementation is always wrong and hence all this chaos...and yes...that is why I liked Revji...and it is not that he doesnot see the things in their practical light...he even tried to convince Gulaal..and I think he might have continued doing so and might have got through her also had Kesuda not jumped the gun😆
But look at Kesar...he has no one...now more than ever, he has no one. Jamna Kaaki's points were valid in that Gulaal started this whole thing...SHE was the one that escalated the drama to the panchayat to begin with and now we're seeing the fallout...Kesar in a sense is very much a confused child as he's running from pillar to post to figure out how to get her back...but things are only getting worse and worse.
JK always has a point..but she is in the same league as our Kesuda...her way of saying actually spoils it...did you see Kesar getting disgusted when she said that Gulaal should feel privileged that Kesar has accepted an older woman who is also his brother's widow...
What I think at this point...Gulaal may be touched and grateful that her father is willing to stand up for her...but it is this panchayat thing only that will bring her back I think...when someone ELSE acts mahaan, obviously Gulaal has to up her mahaanta/sacrifice quotient, no? :P
I thought when Revjibhai decided to leave the village, Gulaal would step in and say that she would go...but dont know...I think Kesuda is going to throw a surprise???
I do think Kesar should back off for now...there is nothing else he can for a bit atleast. My thoughts exactly..he needs to give her breathing space...she would need time to think about all this and also what Revji had told her earlier...

I know it is harsh for Kesar...but looking to the situation and as a father of Gulaal I really felt good that he cared about Gulaal..unlike some fathers who would throw their daughters in their sasural even knowing that their daughter would be abused...

Though his words 'Gulaal ab wapas kabhie nahi aayegi.' were fatalistic,,,, but loved how Kesar accepted Sudha's challenge and said 'She would come back'...Serves the chudail right...
Btw I loved the disturbed and disgusted Kesar when Jamuna degraded Gulaal in front of Revji...absolutely uncomfortable with Gulaal being abused...

Why is everything going against Kes-Gul??? it seems like a dark hole for their so called love story... where is the respite for the two? I felt sorry for Gulaal for a moment, the way she cried her heart out saying that she does not want to go back... its like your taking her will away from her, which looked inhuman at that moment... Then I remembered that it is all the end-result of her decisions, and her stubbornness in a way...

I know that both, Kesar - Gulaal are suffering and both have made mistakes... but, there needs to be a way out... with the families at war now, how do you expect their bond to survive...???

My weekend is gonna be spent on thinking of some pleasant ways by which this sordid mess is sorted out ... imagination is the only respite for now... phew...😔
