Well said Rumi, Neil is the best. KB lovers love Neil-Manasi jodi too. So no need of fighting. 👏

@ Rumi - Noone was fighting. Let's not jump to conclusions. I just said that I did not like the girl much. I did not intend to hurt anyone's feelings by that.
@KBfan
Sorry but I was not aware of the characters as I never watched Karolbagh, though I shopped there once :) Thanks for the BG, now I know why this character looked so much older than Neil. From what you said, it sounds like she is a great actress since she fit the role so well. She looked exactly how you described the character - plain Jane.
I looked up some pictures of this actress and you are right, she looks nothing like the Simi character. Thanks again.

Dear friends (KBians and Gulaalians),

This post tempt me to write something.
I start to like Neil in KB and continue to do so in Gulaal although he has done acting in 2 shows before that. Its his role in KB that Neil said sometime back with this sentence - Abhi is the first role that got me noticed -

Actually in KB we have seen Abhi-Simi chemistry from the very start whilst here it seems the chemistry is different (although it's there hidden) because of the denial on Gulaal's part.
In terms of characterisation, Abhi is adorable since he always support Simi and a very supporting and loving son, SIL, BIL and a friend in need.
Here, its the angry Kesar and lonely Kesar (in some way or the other) and we hardly find the character, Kesar as romantic as Abhi. Maybe this will come when Gulaal accepts him as husband wholeheartedly.
As for Simi, the actress Smiriti, is a newcomer whereas Gulaal, the actress Manasi, has been seen acting in shows before. Both actress did justice to their roles especially Smiriti who at first attempt made us nicknamed the Abhi-Simi jodi's chenistry as the most mesmerizing couple.
Each and every actor/actress has their own talent and I am sure they will get better and better if they get the right roles.

Pardon me for any mistakes in my posting ...

I totally agree!!! Neil was wayyy too good as Abhi, but I love him as Kesar too...his chemistry with Smiriti was really good, but with Manasi also he's good :)
