Will Gulaal fast for Kesar?

In STAR Plus' Gulaal- Zindagi Ka Har Rang, Gulaal suspects that Kesar has developed some feelings for her but is still pushing for his alliance with Talli.

On the other hand, Kesar is subconsciously behaving like a husband to Gulaal and his changed behaviour is noticed by one and all in the family. To avoid anymore friction, Gulaal goes to her mother's house for a brief stay, but is in for a surprise when her mother tells her to accept Kesar as her husband. With Vatsavitri Vrat, coming up, Gulaal will be forced to fast for Kesar on the insistence of her mother and mother-in-law.

A STAR Plus.in source elaborates, "Gulaal is at her mother's house to give Talli and Kesar an opportunity to spend time with each other. Gulaal's mother wants her to behave like Kesar's wife, now that he is back, and will ask her to keep the Vatsavitri Vrat for Kesar. Gulaal will be shocked to hear this suggestion and will refuse to fast for Kesar. She will ask her mother why is she insistent on calling Kesar her husband. Gulaal's mother will reply that she wants her to be the wife Kesar needs. Gulaal will try to convince her mother that it is not possible for her to keep this fast since she has never thought of Kesar as her husband. There will be a major argument between Gulaal and her mother regarding the same. On the other hand, Talli will also learn about the vrat and will decide to fast for Kesar."

An irritated Gulaal aka Mansi Parekh says, "My mother wants me to accept Kesar as my husband and keep this vrat for his longevity. She believes this fast will erase all tensions from my married life. I have already told her about my relationship with Kesar and that I don't consider him my husband. I kept this vrat only for Vasant and no one else. After my mother, now even my mother-in-law is insisting that I keep this vrat."

Explaining the importance of the Vatsavitri fast she adds, "A married woman, Savitri, fought with God of Death Yam to get her husband back after he was dead. Vatsavitri vrat is a fasting ritual observed by women for the health and long life of their husbands."

thanks for sharing 😛! gulaal reaction is obvious but if she fasts kesar will be happy...really he needs to take break he is so much furious nowdays... hope kes-gul come closer by this rituals😳😳! but y this talli billi wants to fast😡😡😡😡😡!

I think she will keep the fast, just for the sake of it maybe even for Vasant in a way (Vasant is still a big part of her and always has been) or even more so for Kesar in a way, not that she will ever acknowledge it for now lol

Yep Kesar is her hubby, but like she says she has never seen him as her husband, and so on

I agree that subconsciously Kesar is behaving or will behave like a husband and so on

I just don't want that it's only talli who keeps the fast and gulaal does nothing ..let's see what happens..

Ha, this is not fair. I hope Talli Billi will not be able to complete the fast. I love Paanba and Poonamba. She can't keep for Vasant. Its for longevity, matlab, long life of a living husband not the longevity of a dead soul. Souls are laid to rest yaar. See Vasant told her also earlier that she having fulfilled all his wish, he doesn't even have the necessity to come back. Come on ok, marriage is not a joke
