Everyone is upset hearing Kesar's words, Jamna smiles through her tears. Paan Baa scolds him, Gulaal is astonished wondering what lengths Kesar will go to. Paan Baa asks him to stay out, Dushyant supports Kesar and says that it doesn't make a difference who Kesar supports. Jamna continues that it doesn't make a different to anybody but both her sons will have to bear this. Kesar and Gulaal look at each other, Kesar looks with so much intensity and tears in his eyes that Gulaal looks away, as if to continue to stay in denial about Kesar's feelings for her. It as as if Kesar was looking deep into her soul daring her to challenge him, letting her know that he will do whatever it takes. Dushyant tells Gulaal to leave for her parents' place, he has already gotten delayed. Kesar glares at Dushyant carrying Gulaal's luggage. Gulaal follows Dushyant, Kesar glares at her and gets even more angry. (The teenage boy inside of him is acting out in the worst possible way. He really needs to talk to someone at what is eating him away. I am a little tired of this anger now, when is it going to stop). Kesar is full of doubts about what is going on between Gulaal and Dushyant and is unable to control himself. He takes big steps and runs to his room angrily. Talli looks on confused. (I think Talli will be the first one to realize Kesar's feelings for Gulaal). Talli flashbacks to Gulaal's words that Talli has to take care of Kesar.
Kesar paces furiously in his room unable to deal with his emotions. He starts throwing things around. He throws his suitcase on the bed and opens it, removes all his letters to Gulaal and throws them in the trash aggressively. (Kesar is really aggressive while doing all this, it is one thing to throw things but he extends his entire body in anger while doing it, clearly shows how deeply angry the guy is). He sits on his bed in anger, and looks at Gulaal's photo with Vasant and young Kesar. Talli beings him sherbet (flavored water), and her reflection falls on Gulaal's photo, Kesar turns around. Talli sees his anger and things thrown around, she feels scared and tells him that she brought him sherbet and with shivering hands leaves the glass on his table. She turns to leave, he calls her calmly and asks her to sit next to him. She hesitates, he insists. He tells her that he expressed too much anger on her, and apologizes. She tells him that he looks angry even now. He asks her if she is scared, she nods her head in a yes. He asks if she is still upset with him, when is her next exam, she says after two days, he asks her why she is sitting there instead of studying. She agrees and tells him anyway nobody can say no to Kesar. Talli leaves. (Kesar treats her like a doormat. Talli is so innocent even though annoying).
Gulaal is happy to meet her mom, she asks her where Kesar is. She sees Dushyant and says that she thought Kesar must have come, Gulaal makes an excuse. Dushyant leaves. Reva is happy to see Gulaal, Gulaal's mother looks upset. Rohan is happy to see Gulaal. Her mother is shocked on hearing that Gulaal will spend 2-3 days there. (What is she going to achieve in 2-3 days by being away from Kesar). Her mother asks if everything is fine, Gulaal says yes. She asks her why she did not bring Kesar, Gulaal tries to avoid the conversation. Her mother continues about Gulaal's choosing Dushyant to become Head, and says that she should have supported Kesar. Gulaal tells her that she did what she thought is right, and she cannot support Kesar in his childhood behavior. Her mother tells her that Gulaal is behaving like a child by going against Kesar, after all Kesar is her husband. She asks her mother why she tries to remind her repeatedly that Kesar is her husband, her mother asks her to think herself why she needs to remind her of this fact repeatedly. Gulaal says this is Kesar they are talking about, KESAR, her mother responds that this is exactly what she is saying, that he is Kesar, her husband. Gulaal refuses to discuss this further and goes in to rest.
Everyone is at the elections including Durgesh. Durgesh tells Raman that he has to leave because some of his people have not arrived, he needs to bring them so Raman can win the election. Durgesh greets Dushyant and asks for Mota Bha, Dushyant says he did not want to see some unfortunate faces, Durgesh responds or he did not want to see two brothers fight, and he doesn't know what Mota Bha will do seeing his family break. Dushyant tells him that if the face is not good at least his words should be good, and the break that Durgesh is trying to cause will not work for long. Both continue to have a play of words, Durgesh leaves. Kesar arrives there and missed seeing Durgesh - it was close. Kesar brings some guys with him, glares angrily at Gulaal, Gulaal is confused seeing him so angry, and walks over to Raman and takes his blessings. Raman hugs Kesar and looks at Dushyant with a smirk.
The moderator announces that they are ready to start voting. Kesar says who will they give it to, he flips his coin and says that the coin tells him that don't support lies, support the truth. Whoever here wants to support the truth will give their vote to Raman. Dushyant takes it in stride, Gulaal seems to have accepted that Kesar will continue to behave in this manner (she looked less shocked). Raman looks on triumphantly (little does Kesar know that Raman tried to kill him). Kesar glares at Gulaal and Dushyant walking away. Raman tells Kesar that he has made him very happy by supporting Raman even though nobody else in the family supported him. Raman hugs him again, Kesar doesn't feel as good though when they hug, he has a sad expression.
Talli brings her friend to Kesar's room to snoop around, Talli doesn't like it but her friend insists that all is fair in love and war, and they are not stealing. She tells Talli they need to look for a sign of love like a photo. Talli asks her to look around, her friend tells her to do it while she keeps watch outside. Talli sees the letters that Kesar threw in his trash. Talli flashbacks to the situation where she snatches the letter from Kesar's hands and he gets angry. Suddenly they see Kesar coming and hide behind the door. Kesar enters, sees the letters on the floor and trash, his eyes well up with emotion, he gathers up the letters and puts them on his bed. He picks out one crumpled one and tries to straighten it with a lot of care. Talli looks on hurt. Kesar takes more letters and does the same thing, Talli looks on with tears in her eyes. Talli trips in the front (I think her friend was leaning too much on her looking on) and Kesar sees them and quickly pushes away all the letters in his trash. He gets up and looks at Talli guiltily. (Kesar is such an amazing actor, its so easy to tell his emotion just from his expressions). Talli and her friend are scared, Talli more so and holds her hands tightly nervous as to what will Kesar say or do now. Its a cute scene, Talli all scared and Kesar guilty, as if both are caught like deer in headlights.
Precap: Kesar hugs Dushyant tightly and tells him that his win has proved Kesar wrong. He removes his coin and tells him that he proved him and his coin wrong. Mota Bha and Paan Baa fell happy seeing Kesar bring agreeable.
