I started watching the show yesterday because the older Kesar-Gulaal pairing appealed me a lot! I won't say I hate Talli but pretty close to it...she's showing her emotions way too loudly! And if a point comes when her heart would be broken and dreams shattered...not only if would kill her inside but due to her innocence, the blame would all be shifted to Gulaal. This I can predict very well!

Coming to Kesar-Gulaal scene in the beginning. I loved how Gulaal was all restless to go near Kesar and touch him just to make sure that he's there and its not a dream. And Kesar was all happy to see Gulaal, his inner feelings were shown clearly from the way he just took some quick steps towards her. They first thought of his childhood memories, the moments his innocence spent with her loneliness...when there were no conditions or the haunting future separation to face. The words spoken by her were of her longing to see him and be with him. Then his memories spoke of the betrayal he felt her by her. The words spoken by him were of his hurt spiced up with some teasing for that extra effect.

The coin toss scene...a clearly etched plan by Kesar to tell Gulaal that years spent apart has created some spaces between them and his heart has changed a little towards her. And she felt it a little. It was her hurt speaking when she asked, "Whats the verdict?" Because no matter how much she justifies the change in him, the truth is the change is too drastic for her to handle. He hurt her. He knew he hurt her and she knew that he knew that he hurt her in a way that nothing else could. He suspected her heart, her feelings, her reason for existence...

Kesar-Talli scene was okayish...Talli was annoying me just a little so I mostly skipped it. But from every angle, it seems that Kesar treats her as a friend and she treats his as her destiny. When opposing feelings like these clash...the end is not the most beautiful thing in the world.

Kesar in his room thinking of his brother and then of Gulaal...just how many emotions were there? The feeling of love, loss, betrayal and of a mission. He's here to prove something. He's here to take something which was lost. He's not here as the kid who could nothing but sit around and watch whatever is happening. He's grown and he knows if life doesn't give you what you want, you simply snatch it away from it. By hook or by crook...

Only time will tell the consequences of it...

P.S - 😍😍😍😍😍

Maisooma.

That was really well written!👏 And I agree completely! The entire Gulaal-Kesar angle is just naturally appealing. It's like an onion with so many layers and the unsaid/suppressed emotions always attract me more than the in 'your face' ones

I agree Reemz, Gul-Kesar are highly-charged and much more going on there etc

I think that Kesar would try to degrade Dushyant because he has gotten such higher education than Dushyant. Dush won't like it, he doesn't like it. He will figure it out much sooner than Gul that Kesar is upto something... Dushyant seems to be more caught up in how Kesar is being whilst others arent and i think he will figure it out and i think Kesar will probably let him know or show him he isnt the little Kesar where he could of slapped him and hold his ear

Though I do second you that Gul will know sooner or later that its something else. And if in a dramatic scene where all will be exposed, Kesar accidentally says it that Gul is siding with his brother's killer just because she has some feelings for him...ouch! That would be a major twist of GuSar... Gulaal will be shocked to the core to hear the feelings bit, that would just shatter her completely in a way, if he ever said that to her , yep sooner or later she will know something more is up......

Something is nagging me that Kesar might accuse her of having feelings for Dushyant...its so cliched but somehow it justifies Kesar's attitude..at least for now.

Yes it could be that Kesar will indeed accuse her of that, and even more so to hurt her with it, like they say you always hurt the ones you love the most, and maybe in anger he will say it and also if he sees Dushyant-Gul interacting as well

Yeh Kesar definitely doubts Gulaals and Dushyants relationship unfortunately! He will really regret it one day!

He will regret it big time...! I think deep inside he has feelings for Gulaal...maybe he always had or the feelings were born in the separation. Growing up is all about knowing different emotions and Kesar knew that he has a wife back home, regardless of the conditions of the marriage they are married. Maybe that feeling will sprout some jealousy in his behavior which he would confuse with anger/revenge etc...aaah! this makes me wanna watch the next episodes soooo bad!! :P

I know 😳 I've been telling Lennie constantly that I want to FF in time to see their scenes! It's fascinating because where as Talli's childhood love has turned in to something quite typical and girlish (still love I agree), Kesar has gone through a wide range of emotions for the woman he probably loves most. In his heart he knows that Gulaal is clean-hearted but he can't deny what he saw either.

I WANT MORE!! And I definitely want to see more from Gulaal too!

I agree, Kesar had so many emotions running in him esp 8 yrs back and lving away in these 8 yrs and coming back esp as he refused to see Gulaal all those years and watching from afar - she is the one he left everything - she is his Gulaal more then she is his patni (if you get what i am trying to say and mean), these feelings and emotions matures a person mentally and it has and should of done to Kesar, and like Reemz says he knows deep down Gulaal is clean-hearted and he still feels how he has always done, but he cant forget what he knows, and how much it troubles him and so on
Maybe we could see jealousy sparking in Kesar, which will be him not taking to see Gul-Dushyant around each other

I love reading the insight of everyone in this forum...i enjoy it more than the show itself, you guys have such interesting views on the show, I just started to watch the show after reading Mansi's blog.....it's rather interesting...i'm not sure about the dynamic between Keser and Gulaal....are they dever-bhabhi or husband and wife? please someone help me out. The guy playing Keser is adorable.....he seems to be the grown up version of boy Keser to the T....He does look a lot younger than Gulaal but thats the whole story i guess???? I don't really like the chemistry between Keser and the other girl....she seems to be having a fit of smiles....even when everyone else is tensed she is smiling.....its like she's eaten laughing gas....or is she a bit slow?

Gul-Kesar have a bond, its not really defined as such to name it anything - just a bond with alot of love, care and trust, a pavitra rishta
They were devar-bhabhi as she was married to his elder brother, and but later on with a tradition called deeyavatu she married Kesar as the situation was that she had to and also to protect him and all that, Kesar was Vasant's dream to grow up and become a big man, successful man etc
So yes they are pati-patni and a identity to the whole village but to each other they just Gulaal-Kesar, a bond they share....
To see and feel Kesar-Gul's bond and understand it better - i think is to see some scenes of them back before the leap and what it is
Even when Gulaal was married to the elder brother, he just called her Gulaal, no Gulaal bhabhi or nothing like that as far as i know
Kesar is now 20 yrs old and Gulaal is 29/30
Talli was smiling throughout even when a emotional scene was going on at the stat, so it felt out of place as such lol
