AJ knows that the mastermind will be well-prepared and has an answer to everything especially since everyone now knows he was pretending to have amnesia to catch this person. He is waiting for just one small window of opportunity to find evidence/clues so he can nab her. Perhaps after finding out it is Durga he realizes how dangerous she is and wants to play a long game of cat and mouse with her instead of being impulsive.

I could be totally wrong here and maybe the CVs haven't given this as much thought as we have or they have another surprise up their sleeves! Time will tell.😆
