Part 7

Days passed and Guddan's efforts have started to show their prowess. A strictly regulated diet coupled with timely medication and daily massages made sure that AJ could finally walk on his own without experiencing seizures or cramps in his muscles. Finally he was able enough to take a bath by himself, not that he objected to being over pampered.

Yes. The great Akshat Jindal had absolutely no problem in being doted over, by his wife. No wonder, she was the one doing his bandages at the moment even though he could do them by himself, certainly better! Because for starters this meant that he was served the chance to intimidate her every time she came close, a game he had come to love on realising how easily his wife would get flustered over the slightest touch of his.

Once Guddan was done with her work, she turned around to fetch him clothes from the closet when his fingers encircled around her wrist and twirling her around pulled her into his arms.

In response, she blushed a bright shade of red that could easily rival the sunset hues he loved. Guddan looked anywhere but at him because he derived immense pleasure out of her uncomfortability in his arms.

Akshat chuckled as Guddan fisted her palms away from his chest to make sure that they weren't touching his naked body. What an odd woman!? She had practically washed him the last two weeks, had helped him dress and undress, changed his dressing and was still giving him massages on a daily basis but every time he would touch her, she would curl up like a touch-me-not. He found it adorable. Cute enough to hide her in his embrace, away from the ways of world.

"Aapko restaurant ke liye l..late nn..nhi ho raha!? Guddan asked, trying her best not to stare at his handsome face, barely an inch from hers.

Since the first incident in the bathtub, many more incidents had followed where Akshat had tried his level best to seduce her into submission and damn, they worked pretty well!

"Hmm...give me my kiss and I'll leave! Akshat demanded cheekily to which Guddan looked up.

He had changed so much that it felt like a mirage. Their equation was changing and she knew better. That boyish smile on his mature face would make her heart feel warm and happy and that puppy look in his beautiful eyes had her going weak on her knees. And using those very puppy eyes, he had forced a promise out of her.

"This is not fair! Guddan whined trying to wriggle out of his grip.

"What is not fair?! Akshat asked huskily, brushing his freshly shaved cheeks against hers. Guddan almost sighed when he tilted his face and pressed a peck against her cheeks.

"See?! I have fulfilled my promise, it's your turn now! Akshat spoke as he looked straight into her eyes.

Guddan sighed in defeat. When he had asked her to promise her, she had allowed her tongue to run wild and spouted something so embarrassing that every time she reminisced it, she wanted the earth to just open up and swallow her.

Flashback:

"So do you promise, Mrs Guddan Akshat Jindal? He asked raising his brows.

Guddan had promised to give him anything he asked for, if he promised to use the walking stick until and unless Doctor said that he was fit enough to walk on his own. And so AJ had gone and kept his promise of using the stick no matter where he went, be it down the stairs or towards the pool or even to the bathroom and thus he had earned himself the right to demand anything out of her and he demanded this.

"Promise me that I can kiss you every morning! He spoke stepping closer.

"Ye kesi demand hai! Guddan retorted taking a step back.

"Jo bhi hai yahi hai, Akshat Jindal se kiya wada tum tod nhi sakti! He spoke taking another step in her direction.

"Hum nhi karenge aapki demand poori! She spoke stepping back.

While on the inside, butterflies were sommersaulting in her stomach.

"Tumhein kuch karna bhi nhi hai, I am the one who will kiss! He spoke winking at her and slammed his palms against the wall on both sides, effectively caging her.

This infuriated Guddan. Why was he able to be so vocal about his demands? Even she wanted to kiss him!

"Aise kese! Chit bhi meri patt bhi meri, aapka sahi hai! Aapne apni bhalai ke liye hi stick use ki aur ab Kiss bhi aap karenge! Nhi ye toh unfair hai!! Aapka kuch chala jata agar aap ye maang lete ki hum aapko kiss karein! Humein kuch nhi pata, har subah hum karenge aapko kiss!! Guddan blabbered annoyed making Akshat's eyes widen.

Perfect! That's what he wanted to hear. He was aiming for her to kiss him all along. Perfect!

"No problem! Feel free to do me the honors! Akshat chuckled and pulled her into his arms.

And Guddan's eyes widened. Uski bekaboo zubaan!!

Coming back to the present, Guddan had almost given him a kiss when Dadi's voice entered their ears and both jumped apart.

Quick to her feet, Guddan rushed out while Akshat just smiled. He was falling hard. Wasn't he?!

As AJ stepped down the stairs for breakfast, Kishore and Vardaan smiled at him from the breakfast table. AJ smiled back, he would be joining restaurant after an entire month! He was happy. However in his happiness, he missed a step and almost stumbled over when Guddan showed up and caught him.

"Aap theek hain na?!She asked worried to which he nodded with eyes filled with love. And soon the duo joined others on the table for breakfast.

Once done, Akshat started leaving with Kishore and Vardaan however his mood had dropped.

Guddan felt like cuddling him when he turned around and looked at her with a pouty face. She was falling hard. Wasn't she?!

"Rukiye!? Guddan called out as Akshat stopped dead in his tracks, a smile making way to his lips.

God bless the one who made this puppy look! It worked wonders to get his work done!!

As AJ signalled his sons to go on ahead, Guddan came up and glared at him.

"Ghoor kya rahi ho?! He asked bossily, suppressing his smile.

"Nhi bas dekh rahe hain ki aap acting mein hamare bhi baap hai! Guddan remarked narrowing her eyes at him.

"Ye sab chodo?! Mujhe roka kyu!? Kuch kaam hai toh jaldi bolo, I'm getting late! He asked pretending to be short on time

Huffing at his attitude, Guddan peered behind his shoulders to see Dadi and the bahus dispersing and decided that this was the moment.

Pulling him by the collar, Guddan tilted her face a bit to kiss him while her eyes were still focussed on the retreating form of bahus. This act of hers caught Akshat by surprise because usually she would stand on her toes and kiss him but today she had pulled him down and thus surprised, he had turned his face in her direction. This overall miscalculation resulted in clashing of her lips against his lips as both their eyes widened in disbelief. Their eyes met each other and then her eyes loitered behind his back to see Lakshmi's eyes wide open.

Holy Hell!!!

Lakshmi had suddenly remembered that she hadn't asked her babyboo to come home early and so she had turned around to remind him so, but instead another scene had played out in front of her eyes. Her mouth went wide agape as her palms covered them shocked.

Quickly, Guddan backed up a bit from Akshat but AJ who had no clue about the spectator, jerked Guddan closer and cupping her face, took her in a searing kiss.

Now Lakshmi almost started crying. There were quite a few reasons to cry. Why was she seeing such a scene first thing in the morning!? Any normal person would be grossed out seeing their in-laws making out!

Guddan tried to tell him but his lips had muffled her protest effectively. As his lips moved over hers, any lingering thoughts went poof as his cologne filled her senses and Guddan fisted his collar. At that moment, Lakshmi just wanted to die!

Finally, out of breath as they moved away from each other, both looked at each other, surprised.

"Not bad, Mrs Jindal! Not bad!! AJ remarked impressed wiping his lips, with his thumb.

Guddan blushed at his action. He is such an overbearing man!!Arghhh!!

Unknown to Guddan, his heart was jumping inside, like a kid of 5 on being handed his favourite lollipop. She had tasted like a lollipop too! Sweet and outright ravishing!

"Vese, I would love to continue but if left to my devices, things will get out of hand so we'll have to leave it here! He spoke meaningfully, as his eyes lit up with something dangerous. AJ never knew that he could feel this way. It was all her. She made him feel alive. Her presence made him look forward to a better tomorrow.

However as he started leaving, he remembered something and quickly turning around, he twirled Guddan around who was standing still frozen in her spot, reeling from the effects of his turbulent, storm driving kiss. She could taste the black coffee on her tongue! Damn Akshat Jindal and his tongue!!

"I'll be back real quick, W-I-F-E-Y! And with that he pressed another quick peck to her lips making Guddan's ears go red. She had hardly recovered from the first kiss and he went and kissed her yet again, out of the blue! Was he planning on giving her a Cardiac arrest!?

As he withdrew to leave, he smiled seeing her shy face and felt his heart throb. It should be a criminal offence to be so pure and innocent! However as he looked up, his eyes widened in shock and following his eyes, Guddan turned around to see Durga, Lakshmi and Saru staring at them in disbelief.

Ek se bhale teen!! Lo baj gayi danger ki been!

Akshat's and Guddan's eyes met and shaking his head in a silent sorry, he hurried off while Guddan turned around torturously slowly, cursing him for putting her in a spot. Damn his cute face and irresistible eyes!

And as her eyes met with the three, Guddan knew that siyappa toh ho gaya tha...

And that's it! With that I lay my case of Redemption to rest😃

I have finally finished this story! Pheww!

I hope you all will enjoy reading this😉 I made it as cheesy as possible😆 and I tried my level best to make it worth an ending. Confession nhi tha but it wasn't that far either!? Was it?!😆
