Today when Bhavani Kaku told Virat he should listen to his heart and follow it Virat said he is bound by his duty and responsibilities which makes me wonder who he sees Pakhi as in his eyes and in his life ?
1. The woman he once fell in love with and never kept up the promise of marrying because she was chosen for his older brother who meant the world to him.
Or
2. His dead brothers wife who he had no choice but to marry owing to the circumstances because he was a broken man and the only thing that made him happy was a small boy and marriage would allow him to adopt the child as his own so he could cope the loss of his real son and wife ?
Or
3. A woman who continued to love him all her life despite all odds at the cost of her own life, happiness and feelings making him the center of her existence moulding herself in a way that she had no identity of her own left !
Or
4. An easy replacement for his first wife he deeply loved, and could do anything for but knew had the keys and controls to his heart and happiness so, it was easier to be around someone who he could stay detached to rather than be with someone he was always afraid would leave him and go away and he didn’t want to go through the pain!

5. A guilty man who doesn’t want to look like he lacks gratitude for the woman who gave him support when she didn’t have to (ignoring however fully the fact that they had history and she was the person he sided against this own wife at the cost of his first marriage) , a woman he made promises to that he could never keep and a who became invalid because he took that call for her without her permission and now when she expects something out of him, he owes atleast to be with her even if it means he himself isn’t happy !
-What is the duty he is bound by ?
-What is the compulsion to be with someone who taunts and torments you day in and day out with her words actions and deeds, reminding you, how you don’t love her but love someone else and that he will never love her?
- what is the need to make promises only to break them or lie to someone because their actions don’t matter to you ?
-why be with a woman whom you have to make so much of an effort to even want to consummate your marriage with that person because each time something happens, you choose those circumstances over wanting to make your marriage with that person complete by consummating it ?
Why won’t he leave her and complicate his even more ? Let’s forget for a moment that he loves Sai or if she would take him back or no, but I am just curious after today’s episode to know - what exactly is Pakhi’s place in his life- making it so important that he could never exclude her from his existence even when she walked into his private moments with his wife , fraudulently impregnated herself with his baby, ran away with the very son who was the reason for their marriage along with a gun, and time and again threatens to kill herself even now !
