Final Good Bye to Virat Chavan and Ghum

The moment I read the precap I logged out of IF and decided not to watch this show ever but bad habits die hard so came here to see the reaction and with a tiny bit hope that it’s not what it seems like .

I am disgusted to the core and I won’t accept Virat ever. Once upon a time in IF I was known as loyal supporter of him and people used to joke that even if Sai leaves him I won’t leave his side . I cannot imagine I have decided to stop watching the show because of Virat who was the one who made me watch the show in the first place . It has never happened in my life where I have hated the character whom I have loved and supported religiously . It’s amazing the way Vankar turned the tables 👏 . I still believe there is some hidden reason which we might not know now but eventually will .

Time has come to bid adieu to the show and this forum . I am tagging people with whom I have interacted at some point of time . It was fun discussing various possibilities but I must say Vankar came up with the worst possibilities.

Before I leave I want to predict one last thing . I have a feeling in the two families promo where they say Virat is ghum in whose pyaar is actually Pakhi . He will be in love with Pakhi while he is forced to stay with Sai until Sai finds out and frees him . He will be secretly meeting Pakhi under Sai’s nose . Sairat is killed and has ended and reasons are best known to makers and channel . Maybe it’s the first time in the ITV history where makers have killed their own successful pair . There must be some reason for this suicidal move .

I have realized having attachment to any fictional show is harmful to mental sanity so I have decided not to indulge in show’s discussion ever in my life so I might quit IF all together in few days .I will miss some friends I made here . I hope I don’t go back on my words but at least this is my plan for now .

One last thing I want to thank Vankar and his team from the bottom of my heart for make me realize some important things . I am not being sarcastic . Bye guys have fun discussing .

I understand the feeling. Take care. I know we had many tiffs before but nothing against you personally. I mean I too loved the ship at one point but the way to the level they've destroyed Virat's character I only feel disgust even for past sweet SaiRat moments. None would be able to go back to watch them even for nostalgia. So so cruel.

Will miss you dear .. I don’t know how long I will last maybe till next week because I want to see how and why they meet .. after seeing that ..will quit

Didn't we already know Nitu that Virat and Sai will come face to face only after Virat is ready to give his relationship with Pakhi a chance. It's to add more drama to the show. Had he not given this relationship a chance, there wouldn't be much of a conflict. Would there? The moment she comes to know he did, in fact, come after her to look for her she would've gone back. Pakhi too would've said there was nothing between her and Virat. If they were planning ViRakhi, they would've shown their progress as a couple, not some random copy paste scenes. He's grateful and sympathises with her. But his heart lies only with Sai.

But I can understand your feelings. If you want to leave the show, do it. But keep in touch if possible, not with the show, with us.

Feel sorry for all the SaiRat fans who have invested 600 episodes on shipping and kept on coming back only with a hope to see something good... I still remember people used to love discussing about SaiRat dynamics and their different views about love and relationship

By the way vanker proved how real life dynamics can change the whole story and a show.. So it's never meant to be SaiRat story.. They are just on the cover page but it's meant to be Virakhi...

In the precap from which angle it looks it's just sympathy & gratitude? Heart lies with Sai seriously that's why he's calling her memories a burden jiske sahara he's apparently living and his soul might die but not Sai's memories...

His expressions stares dialogues everything is shown he's gotten over Sai & fallen in love with her again.

Heck this show doesn't even give scenes where ML talks to himself alone & feels remorseful that if I'm cheating you Sai if I move on in life (and here it's Pakhi) and cries profusely. In Hitler Didi show the ML cried so much when it was just a humshakal who asked him will he gonna love her even if she's not Indira (the original FL) but here it's Pakhi...

Team Sai/Virat/Sairat whichever anyone belonged to... over the past year it has been the show's loss the way the most loyal fans have said goodbye for various reasons.

Real stories stay back in memory even after a show ends, sadly in Ghum's case it has lost its most loyal followers on it's own with regressive unbearable content. Still a part of this story will always be special, that's all anyone would to remember.

It's sad to not like something that was a passionate point of discussion and our minds! But it is what it is, can totally relate with your decision. I was off IF for 4 odd months to stop thinking about this show. It worked for me, hope it works for you too. Hope you can come back to have a laugh the way I do now every once in a while. Because say what we may, this forum and most members are one of a kind. I miss those discussions the most, that part of Ghum was it's only piece of art.
