Moor: My question is are their indicators of how TV TRP will behave based on online TRP. Is that a thing? Statistically?

1. Statistically, Online TRP is calculated by a separate entity and TV ratings by BARC

2. Online audiences give views on social media while TV is calculated by a machine. So even if TV is on an entire day without anyone watching, and if their TV set is one of the calculated ones, the number gets calculated, and unfortunately TV matters because ad revenue

3. Their modus operandi looks like Sai is an accepted strong character so they make her go through trials and tribulations with no respite just because she is "strong"

This is where this line holds very true: It has been okay if Sai was shown winning, she wins eventually but suffers a lot in the process.

4. They have struck on a formula with the trio and they will keep peeling it till the TRPs drop

5. Vanku is happy, ALL actors are happy, and the crew, PH.

We all enjoyed the holiday, now its time to get back to school/work. Holiday is over.

The Chavan have become progressive bhailog. Adoption and now second marriage. Wah

This means the Chavan's and Virat didnt learn their lesson.

I know... I am not saying its TRP dependent... they had planned it in the promo itself. I was seeing it, my point of contention was virakhi marriage. looks like that failed too.

My feeling was, it was to be delayed and the kids story established in detail first so that this can be brought in later as a shock value and when the track needed a major boost.

I am assuming (purely from the business POV) that the first week after leap is obviously very important because it decides how the audience is receiving the change.

If Online has dropped, does it feel like Ghum audience prefers negativity and toxicity... or even not that... but like to see BK, P and their drama on screen?

I am not taking a potshot at anyone on the forum (sorry in advance if it feels so), but the kind of conversation I saw on twitter tag and the forum about the obsession for BK and P and CN drama, makes me wonder.

If really a peaceful journey for Sai will be acceptable to the audience or do they want to see her constant struggles?

What can I tell you about others, lets discuss ourselves

We filled pages and pages during every so called toxic tracks but last few episodes had Sai and her kids, even then most discussion was around Pakhi's mysterious track

There's only so many times one can write about how cute these kids are, if they show the same thing for 2 months, tell me honestly, are you going to watch it?

Love and hate both are strong, Some shows thrive on love and Ghum thrives on hatred because people enjoy when its Sai vs Virat because of Pakhi because Shruti track didn't work for them

There's little to no discussion around Ghum when Sairat are cordial

The more they torture Sai, the more people root for her

They know if they take out Sai, Virat or Pakhi from the equation, the show is dead

They tried with Jagtap entry, which I loved but TRP didn't increase, we can make any excuse but numbers speak for themselves and TRP increased for the surrogacy track

More TRP = More profit

Channel, PH, actors etc are working for money and its not wrong as they have to pay their bills

8Avoiding all the conversation between Sairat about how Oakhi caused issues in marriage instead gave random dialogues about joint family , bojh and what not .

9. Jagtap sudden redemption

If you think back, since Samrat death they have been trying that. hence all Sairat tracks were messed up, confession was nothing like KD where they addressed PL or Shruti.

Whole pregnancy n Miscarriage of Sai gave hints of abhi hoga separation ya tabhi, just that with all those PL could not have been whitewashed. With surrogacy she was permanently in Virat’s life.

They have literally sacrificed Sairat to bring together Virakhi. Now Both will be whitewashed through Sai because unfortunately audience have accepted that in past.

I wont mind if they show Sai bringing Virakhi together emotionally, that will be more sensible than Sairat.

Sai going back to him will be disturbing, I hope they dont show bigamy stuff like KKIS. Where FL is illegitimate relationship.

Whatever they might show, with Sai alive, Patralekha and Virat's marriage does not hold water. But then who cares! 🤡
