I dont think anyone in the forum has ever supported "abuse" of an actor or rape/ death threats to anyone. SM can be a dangerous place and if actors feel threatened or attacked, they have cyber crime cells to address their issues and multiple other ways of limiting their time/visiblity etc etc.

Those issues are not relevant to discussion about shows plot and the offscreen behavior of actors/makers.

many people on this forum who have been here long enough and been watching the show since the beginning will know that there has been a deliberate shift in behavior and actions off and onscreen which seem connected and there is a clear pattern that is noticeable. I personally feel convinced that Vs characterization and the plot of ghkkpm have been destroyed in major parts by makers but there is definitely a contribution of NB and his wife. Their behavior has been way too apparent to be coincidental and so has the twist in the track of the show. So rightfully many audience members have pointed out the pattern, called out facts like excessive use of BDs, poor angles, poor dialogues, decline in acting/performance and all of that ultimately amounts to mediocrity, unprofessionalism and incompetence, arrogance and disregard for audience feedback.

Audience has cried hoarse abput NO surrogacy for many weeks before it was aired, yet they went ahead.

Now despite all the feedback, they still show more cringe everyday as if to mock the audience to say- wait and see the depths to which we can fall.

Ghkkpm was successful because of Sairat. But the Virat in Sairat has been destroyed beyond all redemption. To me beyond doubt he is the most inconsistent and poorly written character.

Bk/pp maybe evil, vile but they are predictably so.. but V is utterly dumb, illogical. No wonder majority cant find anything about his behavior or actions that gives us a perspective.

V has not erred. He has allowed crimes to happen, he has allowed Sai to be robbed of her rights, her consent, ber self esteem- and that is a failure that the audience cannot excuse even if Sai does. The least compensation we deserved was V's genuine repentance but thats also not happening.

When a show is reduced to only ZA fights and 3rd angles, its not going to be pleasant to watch..

Theres barely anyone watching now. Even majority of those active on the forum are watching clips and reading updates. That reflects the current state of affairs of the show.

Its garbage. Period.

Many other itv shows may be similar/worse. I don't watch enough to know but in ghkkpm the offscreen does not distract from onscreen in s positive way and instead leads to more tamasha, the onscreen has no breathing space for happy moments or genuine parallel tracks and much awaited tracks were also a letdown

Despite all the disappointment the audience gets, the flaws, toxicity of the show, the forum has been a place where people have shared witty memes and comments. And i dont see any reason to get unduly personal about anyone's comment. Just because someone is vociferous doesn't mean they are "negative" . Being critical of the show or actor doesn't amount to trolling the actor just as defending an actor does not make someone a die-hard fan.

Most of us, if not all, knew the potential it offered, we were attached to this jodi called Sairat and its hard to watch it be ruined.... Now all we can do is imagine AU or get nostalgic.

Yes. Virat is not a bhabhi lover. Definitely not lover. He turns blind eye towards obvious things and is shown to be taking things at face value which can be stupid. Virat’s character has always been a pendulum between good husband and a dumb one. Abhi uska dumb phase chalu hai.

Just want to say abuse definitely happened. People here wished Neil should remain jobless for a life time after this show. We don’t wish even our rivals to suffer forgoing their livelihood but here it happened. So much more I came across but not in a state to tell.

Whether his fan or not wishing such thing is outrightly inhuman.

i understand what you are saying. Everybody watches fiction in their own way. I have a friend who can watch any sort of regressive. even misogynistic movie/show without getting bothered ..she will even point out some of the good things she liked in the show. She enjoys fiction without any filter, but in real life she is quite different. I am completely opposite - I take things at face value and give importance to details, get affected by regressive content shown. Then there are other people like yourself who try to understand the makers POV or look at the essence of the story and give less importance to details....that's fine too. So there is not one way or right way of either watching or reacting to fiction or fictional characters...we are all wired differently. To each his own. Keep expressing your views. 🤗

Coming to Virat..I can tell why I dislike him. The reason is.....he feels so real (compared to other MLs). The setting, story of Ghum may be unrealistic, but the characters are not. Virat's abusive behaviour and some of his other characteristics come out as manipulative to me (probably writers' fault).....and the worst part is... he is so damn real. It is scary. Just my POV.

Virat doesn't support Sai when she needs him the most during sensitive times. That's why we get angry. And insults her in front of his ex gf. Doesn't go by the law when it comes to his family. But punishes other ppl. He is very biased .

It's all to do with makers, personal issues and not showing romance at all after confession. So unable to connect with the characters.

After Shruti track the anger phase was dragged way too much. But after confession there was hardly anything except for 3 mins.

After that one issue after the other, deliberately introduced so that they don't have to show romance.

Overall the show is a mess due to personal and writing issues.

There is no single point of focus and control on the show i feel.
