Remember when we had only doordharshan; none of the shows has regressive content, few were even progressive..because there was no motivation to make crazy amount of money..

Ever since satellite channels came into being, we started getting all this crap...because channels are greedy..they want to make money by hook or crook. In this scenario, the role of a non-partisan, preferably governemnt body becomes very important. In our country, there is BCCI - but it is useless. Many made a formal complaint to it...no use.
